LOCATIONS - Created 2013 for German members of Six of One - tour guide Michael Brüne www.sixofone-escape.co.uk The photos appear in order as if you are travelling along the roads in the direction towards the last photo. The distance is not too great in the central area but the outer parts (photos 38 and 42 ) are further away and so it would not be easy to visit those places unless you were in a vehicle. I have marked the rail station on the map and it is quite near to the shops but it is not near to the other locations. Photo 6 is the starting point showing the hotel which used to be the Thatched Barn where No. 6 has the poisoned drink. Photo 8 shows the bridge over the road where they filmed the scene from on that road. Photo 10 is the road leading into Borehamwood where the old GEC Marconi building used to stand (seen in Do Not Forsake Me) and in photo 12 there is a building which is the Premier Inn and this is the approximate location of the old building (seen in Do Not Forsake Me) and you can see the Elstree Way sign. Photo 14 is further along the road. Photos 16 and 18 show the place where the old studios stood and the small brick wall remains which used to be part of the front studio buildings. Photo 20 is further along the road and photo 22 shows Studio Way. Photo 24 is further along Studio Way showing the tree which used to appear in etc and photo 26 shows other trees further along Studio Way where there is a public house. Photo 28 is back on the road into Borehamwood and photo 30 shows the start of the Borehamwood shopping street. Photo 32 shows the bank seen in The Girl Who was Death and across the road is the shop window in which Justine Lord appears as a model. Photo 34 is the same area and photo 36 shows the Barnardos shop which was the Magnum Record Store. Photo 38 is the Mops and Brooms public house where the two cars turn round and photo 42 is the lane where the cars turn into the Witchwood ghost town. I hope this will be useful for you if you are able to go round Borehamwood, hopefully with a vehicle, but if you are on foot and go to the train station there will be a lot of walking to visit all of the places!
