Monthly Food Collection Bags will be available next weekend for the August food collection. On behalf of Social Action, thank you for your continued contributions, especially during the summer months when donations to the Food Bank are low.

Back to School Collection Social Action is sponsoring a Back to School collection for the month of August. The donations will benefit Covenant to Care, St. Gabriel School, and the Windsor Elementary Schools. All new school supplies are greatly appreciated, but the most requested items include: dry erase markers, pencils, erasers, pens, college ruled paper and notebooks, colored pencils, glue sticks, makers, backpacks, and miscellaneous craft supplies for art projects. Saint Gabriel School currently has the following positions available: • Part-time After School Program Aide: ASP Aide will help supervise students doing homework and playing games. Preschool th through 8 Grade attend the program needing various levels of supervision and attention. After School Program runs from 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Responsible high school students are welcome to apply.

• Social Worker: A social worker is needed for a day each week to run support groups for the students and give support to some of the individual students in need.
