TEE OFF • The No. 15 ranked Washburn men’s golf team rounds the regular season as they compete in the NSU Classic on Aril 12-13 in Muskogee, Okla., at the Muskogee Country Club.

NSU CLASSIC • The NSU Classic, hosted by fellow MIAA opponent Northeastern State, will take place at the Muskogee Country Club in Muskogee, Okla., on April 12-13. There will be three rounds total in the event with two rounds on Monday and the final round on Tuesday. • Five other conference opponents will participate in the tournament, including Central Missouri, Missouri Western, Lincoln, Newman and Rogers State. • Other participants include Winona State, Bemidji State, Minnesota State-Mankato, and Bemidji State of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, as well as Harding, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Arkansas, Henderson State, Oklahoma Baptist, Arkansas-Monticello, Southern Nazarene and Northwestern Oklahoma State of the Great American Conference, Seminole State College of the NJCAA and Oral Roberts of the DI Summit League.

LAST TIME OUT • Washburn won the team title out of 23 teams in the Mules Invitational on April 5-6. • Andrew Beckler tied for first out of the 119 participants, as he shot even with par. He had individual round scores of 71-69-70. • Ian Trebilcock shot 3-over par to tie for ninth. Dawson Wills and Griffin Mott both finished the tournament tied for 28th, going 7-over par. Michael Bessenbacher rounded out the Ichabods tied for 55th going 13-over par. • Competing as an individual, Jackson Wexler tied for 103rd as he went 24-over par.
