On 19 December 2015, Jurong Country Club hosted a Christmas Golf Game Dinner during which a cheque of $56,413 was presented to APSN. The money raised was from their Etiqa Jurong Charity Golf event which took place on 22 August 2015. The Game Dinner commenced with a mingling of golfers over a buffet dinner spread and ended with the presentation of “golf event prizes and cheques to their chosen beneficiaries. Their beneficiaries also included The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, Lakeside Family Centre and Society for the Aged Sick. On 3 December 2015, the lighting of the APG torch and Relay was done as a final lead up to the 8th ASEAN Para Games. The CrowdsCrow of supporterssu Torch Relay began at the Event Plaza of the walking in the hope of finishing Marina Bay Sands which came to an end at the 5.5km walk “ the Singapore Sports Hub. In appreciation of APSN’s support and contribution to the 8th APG, Mr Royce Seah (APSN EXCO Member) was invited to be the first person to carry the torch on its 5.5 km journey. On 16 October 2015, APSN Chaoyang School hosted the SPED Learning Day-APSN Cluster Sharing session. This school-based learning segment of SPED Learning Day “acknowledges the importance of effective collaboration amongst practitioners in the special education sector to enhance their professionalism. The day commenced with a welcome speech by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Mr Chan Chee Keong (APSN President) with APSN CEO, Principals, Chan Chee Keong (APSN President) followed Centre Director and VP attending the SPED Learning Day-APSN Cluster Sharingg session. by a presentation by APSN CYS teachers who gave us an insightful introduction to Positive Education, gathered from their 4-day course on the subject at Geelong Grammar School, Victoria Australia. The rest of the morning was packed with concurrent sessions and exhibitions which uplifted the mind and spirit of SPED educators as well as provided useful ideas on effective strategies to promote student learning within and beyond the classroom. On 30 August 2015 , Team S.U.P.E.R. (Serve, Uplift, Passion, Embrace, Respect), a group of students from Victoria Junior College and Zhonghua Secondary School headed down to Bugis to raise awareness for APSN. They created a huge banner using a large piece of cloth and drew out APSN in block letters. They brought this to the streets and approached “people waiting at traffic lights and walking along the streets to request them to show their support for people with special needs by writing messages and signing their names on the banner. Interacting with the public to increase awareness for APSN was very meaningful. At the end of the day, the students were very satisfied by the beautiful and colourful banner signed by a few hundred of people. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and they hope that the society will continuously support the APSN cause. On 7 November 2015, a graduation ceremony was organized by YMCA for 14 students from our Multi Media Club (MMC) who had completed a 10-month enrichment “course with the use of DSLR cameras in digital photography. CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

The security guard call Miko’s mother My mother thanked to cousins and me. My mother, cousins and I and tell her that she is lost. The security guard make an enjoy and smiled. after, we finished the birthday party. Finely, we announcement with his walkie talkie. very happy because we just finished the birthday party.
