Maldives Switzerland Joint Communiqué of 4.XI.2008:

Dhiraagu (Maldives) and SwissTelex, Lugano (Switzerland), announce in this joint communiqué that, since 1 November 2008, all telex traffic to and from Maldives is handled by SwissTelex.

Maldives subscribers’ national telex numbers, together with the Telex Destination Code (TDC) “896” allocated to Maldives under ITU-T Recommendation F.69 and the Telex Network Identification Code (TNIC) “MF” allocated to Maldives under ITU-T Recommendation F.68, remain unchanged.

China Communication of 5.XI.2008:

Change in name

China United Telecommunications Corporation (China Unicom), Beijing, announces that it has changed its name. Its new name is “China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited”. This is not a new entity, but the existing entity that has been renamed.
