Originally, I wrote this book as a practical guide for men and their intimate lovers. I wanted to share with readers the lessons I had learned in life—specifically, how a man can grow spiritually while passionately dealing with the challenges of women, work, and sexual desire. Now, years later, after sharing this work with thousands of men and women. straight and gay, single and coupled, I can confirm that the les- sons presented in these chapters really produce results. And in today's world of rapid sexual and spiritual evolution—and thus confusion—these lessons may be more relevant than ever. One of the more important lessons is this: as evolving human beings, we can learn that mastery is an important phase to accomplish and pass through in this school of life where we are learning to love more artfully. Through the way described in this book, I have learned to love a woman into light, earn as much money as I want doing what I love to do, and master the arts of sexual loving. You can, too. And then you will open to your next lessons, made possible by your real growth, just as you have achieved and outgrown all of your interests up until now. What you loved as a child is less interesting to you now as an adult. And what occupies your attention now will cease to sooner or later. This growth is both natural and good. We are designed to outgrow every thing—including our desire to experience and improve the realms of money, sex, and intimacy. The Way of the Superior Man shows you how a man and his lover can learn the lessonhttp://www.forbidden-poker-secrets.com/s necessary to grow to the next step—wher e the mind opens as feeling and the body is only light. There is a way to grow through these lessons, too, I'm told, but first things first. Live completely. Know your deepest purpose. Give the gift you were born to give. Enjoy sex as a cosmic portal into love's wonders. Serve your friends so they may grow. And, through the inevitable cycles of breath taking success and gut wrenching despair, when you have mastered and outgrown the challenges of women, work, and sexual desire, be willing to forget you were ever born. Eventually—and I'm telling you in advance, just like I was told—the way of the superior man renders obsolete everything that can be known or experienced. For now, start with what concerns you. I did. What my teachers and life required that I grow to understand—the path that worked for me as a man in a world of infinite possibilities—is offered in the chapters of this book. You will lay down your own path as you grow beyond your need to experience or know anything at all. So, here's my summation for a new preface: Stop waiting. Feel every thing. Love achingly. Give impeccably. Let go. Repeat with whatever remains, as long as you are moved to do so. This way dissolves wide open. http://www.forbidden-poker-secrets.com/ Introduction This book is a guide for a specific kind of newly evolving man. This man is unabashedly masculine—he is purposeful, confident, and di rected, living his chosen way of life with deep integrity and humor—and he is sensitive, spontaneous, and spiritually alive, with a heart-commit ment to discovering and living his deepest truth. This kind of man is totally turned on by the feminine. He loves to take his woman sexually, to ravish her, but not in some old-style macho fashion. Rather, he wants to ravish her with so much love she is vanished, they both vanish, in the fullness of loving itself. He is dedicated to incarnating love on this earth, through his work and his sexuality, and he does so as a free man, bound neither by outer convention nor inner cowardice. This newly evolving man is not a scared bully, posturing like some King Kong in charge of the universe. Nor is he a new age wimp, all spine less, smiley, and starry-eyed. He has embraced both his inner masculine and feminine, and he no longer holds onto either of them. He doesn't need to be right all the time, nor does he need to be always safe, co operative, and sharing, like an androgynous Mr. Nice Guy. He simply lives from his deepest core, fearlessly giving his gifts, feeling through the fleeting moment into the openness of existence, totally committed to magnifying love. To help illuminate the purpose of The Way of the Superior Man, I will draw on a few principles of sexuality and spiritual growth which are de veloped in my book Intimate Communion.* David Deida, 1995. Intimate Communion. Deerfield Beach, Florida: Health Communications, Inc. http://www.forbidden-poker-secrets.com/ Until fairly recently, modern roles for men and women were fixed and separated. Men were supposed to go out and earn money. Women were supposed to stay home and take care of the kids. Men often ma nipulated their women through physical and financial dominance and threat. Women often manipulated their men through emotional and sexual strokes and stabs. The typical and extreme caricatures of this previous time are the macho jerk and the submissive housewife.

  • Silent Road in the Light of Experience
Silent Road: In the light of personal experience by Wellesley Tudor Pole London: Neville Spearman Ltd, 1960 [DUST JACKET ITEM THAT CAME WITH "THE SILENT ROAD"] ‘Some of your experiences are almost unbelievable . A most interesting book that will do an enormous amount of good.’ Dr. Raynor Johnson In this unusual thought-provoking and, at times, controversial book the author tells the reader in his foreword that it ‘should be read with a mind free from preconceived ideas or set opinions’. The author’s personal experiences, described in these pages are varied, illuminating and always intriguing. You will read about: . The doctor who left his body in Britain while he visited Major Tudor Pole lying ill in a houseboat on the Nile. through the gift of ‘prevision’ the author was able to change a certain verdict of ‘guilty’ to one of ‘not guilty’ in a manslaughter case. There is so much of absorbing interest. Each chapter is a little gem in itself—a separate entity, dealing with some aspect of the mind, be it clairvoyance, precognition, dreams, memory or imagination. Nevertheless, all are connected for they are different facets of the whole. About the Author: Wellesley Tudor Pole, O.B.E., soldier, traveller, industrialist. Student of archaeology in Egypt, Palestine, Turkey and the Sahara. Founder of the Big Ben Silent Minute Observance. Chairman: The Chalice Well Trust, Glastonbury and Governor of the Glaston Tor School for Boys. In the opinion of many, the insights revealed by Wellesley Tudor Pole in his previous books, The Silent Road and A Man Seen Afar established him as a seer possessing capacities of an order altogether different from what is ordinarily understood by clairvoyance.

SILENT GRIEF: NARRATIVES OF BEREAVED ADULT SIBLINGS By Brenda J. Marshall A thesis submitted in conformity with the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Department of Adult Education and Counselling Psychology Ontario Institute for Studies in Education University of Toronto ©Copyright by Brenda Marshall 2009 Silent Grief: Narratives of Bereaved Adult Siblings Doctor of Philosophy, 2009 Brenda J. Marshall Department of Adult Education and Counselling Psychology University of Toronto Abstract This qualitative research project is a narrative inquiry into the lives of four bereaved siblings; one is myself. The purpose of the project was to explore our mutual experiences of loss, look for patterns, and create a forum for continuing our stories in a new way. Identified as a disenfranchised loss (Wray, 2003) adult siblings are often seen as the least impacted family member when a sibling dies. After such a death, the concern is first directed toward the grieving spouse and children and then the deceased’s parents. Adult siblings are often expected to be a source of strength and support for others. Through in-depth interviews and story telling, three participants shared their reflections of, first, living with and, then, living without beloved siblings. Their stories of loss and love are captured both with words and visually through photographs. My stories are woven throughout the text as I reflect upon my grief journey and ongoing search for meaning. ii Findings of this research offer a glimpse into the profound depth of this loss and some of the unique challenges faced by bereaved adult siblings. All participants experienced strained dynamics within families of origin as members grieved the loss differently.

All of the Beach Boys are dead. It happened after a huge concert in San Diego. Their white stretch iimo was hit by a large transfer truck. The trucker did not have his chauffeurs license, had been on the road for 36 hours, and was strung out on speed and dope. The entire group died instantly and painlessly. Then came the spontaneous combustion. A small private family service for all of them was planned for a retreat in southern California. However, the President of the United States called the nearest relatives and asked that the service be held in Washington DC.
