WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 1–25 REQUIRED TOOLS: Torx bit T30 Oil drain pan Drive socket # 19 Flat screwdriver Drive socket # 32 Torque wrench Combination spanner №19 Fender cover Ratchet wrench Microfibre towel WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 2–25 AUTODOC recommends: Replace the oil filter every time when changing motor oil. All work should be done with the engine stopped. Wear gloves to prevent contact with hot liquid. CARRY OUT REPLACEMENT IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER: 1 Open the hood. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 3–25 2 Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. 3 Remove the engine cover. AUTODOC recommends: Raise the engine cover, holding it on two sides simultaneously. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 4–25 4 Unplug the vacuum valve connector. 5 Unscrew the brackets of the vacuum pipes (3 fasteners). Use Torx T30. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 5–25 6 Clean the oil filter housing cap. 7 Unscrew the filter housing cap together with the old filter element. Use a drive socket #32. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 6–25 8 Prepare a container for the old oil filter. 9 Unscrew the filter housing cap together with the old filter element. Put the old filter cartridge in the container. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 7–25 10 Cover the oil filter housing with a clean cloth to prevent dirt and foreign objects from getting into the system. 11 Unscrew the oil filler plug. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 8–25 12 Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit. AUTODOC recommends: The vehicle must be on even keel, and if it is at an angle, the drain plug must be at the lowest point. 13 Put a waste oil container with at least 5 l capacity under the drainage hole. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 9–25 14 Unscrew the drain plug. Use a drive socket No.19 or ring spanner No.19. 15 Drain the used oil. AUTODOC recommends: Caution! The oil may be hot. Wait until the oil has completely drained from the drainage hole. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 10–25 16 Detach the oil filter from the filter cover. 17 Remove old o-rings from the oil filter cover. Use a flat screwdriver. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 11–25 18 Install new O-rings (3 pieces) and a new oil filter to their mounting seats on the filter cover. Please note! Make sure to install the filter correctly. Don't mix up the sides of the part. 19 Clean the area of the oil pan drainage hole. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 12–25 20 Screw in the new drainage plug and tighten it. Use a drive socket #19. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 30 Nm torque. 21 Lower the car. 22 Remove the cloth from the oil filter housing. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 13–25 23 Lubricate the rubber seal of the new filter with a little amount of fresh oil. 24 Screw the new filter into its place. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 14–25 25 Screw the cap. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 25 Nm torque. 26 Install the brackets of the vacuum pipes and screw in their fasteners (3 fasteners). Use Torx T30. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 10 Nm torque. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 15–25 27 Plug in the vacuum valve connector. 28 Unscrew the oil filler plug. Insert the funnel. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 16–25 29 Pour oil into the engine through the filler. Required amount of oil: 4.3 l. AUTODOC recommends: Use the oil recommended by the manufacturer. 30 Check the oil level using the dipstick. Top up oil if necessary. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 17–25 AUTODOC recommends: The oil level should be between the Min and Max marks. 31 Tighten the oil filler cap. 32 Run the engine for a few minutes. After the oil pressure warning light goes out, stop the engine. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 18–25 33 Check the oil level 5 minutes after the stop of the engine operation using a dipstick and add oil if necessary. AUTODOC recommends: The oil level should be between the Min and Max marks. Make sure that the oil filler cap is properly tightened. Check the threaded plug of the drainage hole and the oil filter seal for tightness. If necessary, carefully tighten them up. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 19–25 34 Install the engine cover and secure it. 35 Remove the fender protection cover. 36 Close the hood. AUTODOC recommends: Note that oil pressure warning light, which indicates insufficient pressure in the lubrication system, may be on for a longer time than usual. After a few seconds, the oil will fill all the channels, and the light will go out. To protect the environment from pollution, be sure to dispose of the used filters at special collection points. Replace the bulbs in both headlights at a time. All work should be done with the engine stopped. CARRY OUT REPLACEMENT IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER: 1 Switch off the ignition. Open the hood. WWW.AUTODOC.CO.UK 3–12 2 Remove the headlight rear cover. 3 Detach the bulb holder by turning it by ~30°. Remove the holder from the headlight mounting seat. AUTODOC recommends: Clean the bulb mounting seat on the holder. 5 Install a new bulb into the holder.
