Your ability to portray another person’s life and personality even when it is so far from your own has always enthralled me. I had already been a fan for many years when you were cast in Game of Thrones as Ser Jorah Mormont so I was very excited to see how you would portray Jorah. When the first series was broadcast neither I nor other fans knew how much we would be immersed in this wonderful programme and in particular your character Ser Jorah Mormont. Spending so much time involved in supporting someone, running the website, creating a place for fans to come together, creating the fan group as a fan, I feel this immense sense of pride for every achievement, every award that you receive or a show or stage play that you are involved in receives, every moment that you - the actor - makes someone’s life a little bit happier and brighter by just doing what you do best.
