HE’S WITH WHO?

Although only about eight percent of the free agents available switched teams this year, it seemed that this offseason contained an unusual amount of big-name switches through trades and free-agent signings.

Five running backs coming off 1,000-yard performances in (now with Denver), THOMAS JONES (), (), AHMAN GREEN (Houston), and (Detroit) will don new uniforms this season, as will WILLIS MC GAHEE (Baltimore), a two-time 1,000-yard rusher.

Several , including (Miami) and MATT SCHAUB (Houston), will be under center for a new team this season. Five-time All-Star will now catch passes from in New England.

Linebackers with experience like DONNIE EDWARDS (Kansas City), (Tampa Bay), JOEY PORTER (Miami), (Philadelphia) and ADALIUS THOMAS (New England) will be lining up for new teams in 2007.

“I knew there was a chance I might be traded,” says Jones about ultimately landing with the Jets. “The Jets were definitely my first choice.”
