Her YouTube post of the class performing “All We Got” was retweeted by Chance the Rapper, who praised, “AMAZING!! You guys sound great!” ADAM D. HILL Director of Percussion and Asst. Marching Band Director at Romeoville High School, Romeoville After 10 seasons as a member of the Chicago Bulls Drumline, Adam founded the independent ensemble Pioneer Indoor and has led them to multiple WGI medals as its Executive Director. Concurrent with his teaching at Romeoville High and the University of St. Francis, Adam is now the director of the Chicago Bulls Stampede Drumline. MICHAEL GIBSON While teaching choir at Curie High School, Chicago, Michael formed the after-school vocal ensemble Musicality. YouTube videos of Musicality led to a call from America’s Got Talent. They made it through the semi- finals, performing songs by One Direction, Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande, and were awarded a $5,000 grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. XAVIER CUSTODIO Fine & Performing Arts Chair at South Shore International College Prep, Chicago After teaching general music, band and chorus in Chicago Public Schools for a number of years, Xavier saw the need for a venue where Latino artists could share the struggles and perseverance of Latino culture. He co-founded the Visión Latino Theatre Company, now in its second year with Xavier as Artistic Director.
