THREE EASY STEPS TO THE PERFECT FIT.
Here’s how you can nd the perfect t with the ASC concept for every customer quickly and easily:
1. ANALYZE
There are ve di erent analysis devices to choose from that determine the foot type, length, width and other data concerning athletes' feet. From the three-dimensional representation of both feet using the BD 3D Scanner VANDRA to the quick and easy-to-use Feet View, we o er the following devices for foot type analysis: BD 3D Scanner VANDRA, BD Podoscope, BD Feet View, FMD (Foot Measuring Device), BD Measuring Gauge Brannock (length and width measurement).
2. SELECT
Once the foot type has been determined, it is easy to nd the appropriate insole, suitable Power Fit socks, and foam liners. Choose the product that is going to meet the athletes’ requirements for their sport or activity, whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, hiking or running, and so on.
3. CUSTOMIZE
Regardless of whether they’re Step-In, Fusion or 3D Custom, all BD insoles can be custom molded and tted precisely to the foot of an athlete through heating.

You can cover all sports with three models, each with three di erent constructions for the various foot
types. Follow the simple foot type analysis steps and select an insole of the three models in LOW, MID or 3D CUSTOM HIGH Arch. Insert the insole into footwear and you’re nished! Individual tting can be o ered as an extra service that ensures customers get a t that is 100 % perfect. The wide range of insoles guarantees the right insole for every foot type. FUSION LOW ARCH
The arch is incapable of cushioning, thus reducing the spring in the
customers step or running motion. Displacement of the bones involved STEP IN (e.g., buckling of the ankle bone, heel bone) can cause strain on tendons and ligaments. This leads to static imbalance. The BD LOW Arch footbed helps to prevent overpronation. LINERS FOAM
MID ARCH POWER FIT SOCKS
The layout of the bones, tendons and ligaments re ects the theoretical norm. The pressure below the foot is distributed over the 3 main support points: heel (20 %), big toe base joint (17 %), small toe base joint (13 %). A BD MID Arch footbed o ers optimum pressure distribution for this type of foot, while stabilizing and cushioning. HOTRONIC ANALYSIS & FITTING HIGH ARCH
The long-arch is too high, thus reducing the contact surface. High medial and lateral arches are typically caused by shortening of the tendon MATERIAL
structure or high muscle tension. These changes of the foot shape cause FITTING friction and pressure points when wearing shoes. A stressed tendon structure is o en found throughout the body in this case. A BD HIGH Arch footbed ensures comfortable, even pressure distribution for this foot type.

3D INSOLE FITTING INTRODUCTION 1 Material is pushed back to the rear part of the pillows to form a plateau. Next, air is pulled out to create a vacuum. 3D CUSTOM 3D CUSTOM 2 The customer should sit in a 90-90-90 position with the legs hip-width apart and put the feet on the vacuum pillows. The VAC IV o ers the possibility to adjust
the width of the molding pillows! Then, FUSION enough air to enable one of the feet to be copied needs to be let into the cushion.
TIP: The customer should apply no pressure to their foot at all, so that it can
be positioned and copied correctly. STEP IN
3 The heel should be pressed by the technician into the vacuum pillow while in a neutral position, and the area from the midfoot to the toes should then be carefully embedded in the pillow. Pull out more air to harden the LINERS cast. FOAM
4 Smooth out the pillow in front of and
around the toes, so that an insole can be POWER FIT placed in the best possible position in the SOCKS forefoot and toe area.
5 HOTRONIC
Heat the BD 3D Heater to the desired temperature, insert the insoles, and activate the timer. Avoid heating the insole too much and for too long as this will have a negative e ect on the materials and the cooling time!
6 ANALYSIS & FITTING Position the heated insoles in the vacuum pillow starting from the heel and working toward the toes. Be sure to align MATERIAL
the footbed properly. FITTING
7 Ask the customer to stand on the insoles and put all their body weight on them for ve minutes. Ensure the customer is standing with the feet hip-width apart when doing this. ATTENTION: Allow the insoles to cool down for a further ve minutes so that they harden completely. Once the 3D insoles have cooled MARKETING completely, you can remove them from the 3D VAC and nish them (by sanding, cutting and/or milling them). 3D CUSTOM INSOLES
