ANALYZE There are ve di erent analysis devices to choose from that determine the foot type, length, width and other data concerning athletes' feet. From the three-dimensional representation of both feet using the BD 3D Scanner VANDRA to the quick and easy-to-use Feet View, we o er the following devices for foot type analysis: BD 3D Scanner VANDRA, BD Podoscope, BD Feet View, FMD (Foot Measuring Device), BD Measuring Gauge Brannock (length and width measurement). 2. SELECT Once the foot type has been determined, it is easy to nd the appropriate insole, suitable Power Fit socks, and foam liners. Choose the product that is going to meet the athletes’ requirements for their sport or activity, whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, hiking or running, and so on. 3. CUSTOMIZE Regardless of whether they’re Step-In, Fusion or 3D Custom, all BD insoles can be custom molded and tted precisely to the foot of an athlete through heating. Follow the simple foot type analysis steps and select an insole of the three models in LOW, MID or 3D CUSTOM HIGH Arch. Insert the insole into footwear and you’re nished! FUSION LOW ARCH The arch is incapable of cushioning, thus reducing the spring in the customers step or running motion. Displacement of the bones involved STEPIN (e.g., buckling of the ankle bone, heel bone) can cause strain on tendons and ligaments. This leads to static imbalance. The BD LOW Arch footbed helps to prevent overpronation. LINERS FOAM FOAM MID ARCH FIT POWER SOCKS SOCKS The layout of the bones, tendons and ligaments re ects the theoretical norm. The pressure below the foot is distributed over the 3 main support points: heel (20 %), big toe base joint (17 %), small toe base joint (13 %). High medial and lateral arches are typically caused by shortening of the tendon MATERIAL MATERIAL structure or high muscle tension.
