Four primary factors – stable teachers, skill assessment with regularly evaluated learn- ing standards, transparency and accounta- bility – form the principal foundation of said system. Even those who are consid- ered ‘disadvantaged’ according to Shang- hai standards consistently score in the top 25 percentile of the PISA. After five years of living in this diverse city, The Dolphin-Adams family are saying goodbye as they depart for their next adventure in Seattle this summer.
