Please check event pages in the guide and on the website for access information and session times. When booking your ticket please inform the operator of any access requirements. Every event page includes audio versions of the page information. Each event in the Festival program contains detailed access information for that event in the booking guide and on the website. All 2020 Festival tickets are sold through BASS. Various transaction fees apply depending on where and how you purchase your tickets. For more information visit bass.net.au. Detailed information on venue access is available at adelaidefestival.com.au. Assistive Listening Assistive Listening Loops are available in the following venues: • Dunstan Playhouse • Festival Theatre • Space Theatre There are a limited number of hearing packs available. When booking tickets please notify ticketing staff that you will require assistive listening. Assistance Dogs Watering Station Watering stations for assistance dogs are available at Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden and Elder Park. Please note Access tickets cannot be purchased online. 7 Auslan Interpreted Events What is Auslan Interpretation? During an Auslan interpreted performance, an interpreter stands in a clearly visible location to the audience, and interprets the spoken word and sound effects for Deaf patrons who require Auslan. The following events are Auslan interpreted. Please request headsets when booking to ensure availability. Headsets can be collected in foyers of each venue near box office – from one hour prior to show time. Open House is generously supported by The Balnaves Foundation. Tix for Next to Nix We want the Adelaide Festival to be for everyone, and are seeking out community groups and individuals who would love to experience the Festival but just cannot afford it. In 2020, with the help of The Balnaves Foundation, we are offering 1000 Tix For Next To Nix across a selection of Festival events for just $5 each. These tickets will be available in advance of the performance for those with a current Pension or Healthcare Card. Register your or your community group's interest in Tix For Next To Nix at adelaidefestival.com.au/open-house 15 Pay What You Can Pay What You Can tickets are made available by the Festival for low income earners who cannot otherwise afford to attend. These tickets are available at the box office one hour before the show and are subject to availability. Eligible patrons can present a current Healthcare card, pension card or full time student card to access a Pay What You Can ticket via donation of an amount chosen by the patron based on what they can afford. In 2020, Buŋgul, Cold Blood, Breaking the Waves, Enter Achilles, Lyon Opera Ballet - Trois Grandes Fugues, Mouthpiece & Two Crews will have Pay What You Can tickets available at a date and time to be confirmed.
