He has accom- plished many goals during his short driving career. He has earned two driving championships, two prestigious “Most improved Driver” awards and nearly 50 fea- ture race victories! Following in the footsteps of his race driving grandfather Bob and his father Bud Schweibinz; Buddy’s racing career started in 2011 at the age of 6 in a QMA sanctioned Quarter Midget; racing the SJQMA and USAC circuits in NJ and PA. Bud- dy showed amazing driving talent from that very first season. In a Quarter Midget career that spanned 4 years on both the QMA and USAC (United States Auto Club) circuits Buddy Schweibinz set several track records. He has been the Atco Speedway Driving Champion in New Jersey on two occasions, won the “Most Improved Driver” award in 2013 and earned a remarkable 40 Quar- ter Midget feature race victories. In 2015, at age ten, Buddy made a giant career move from Quarter Midgets to the highly competitive 125cc Micro-Sprints, racing mainly at Airport Speedway in New Castle Delaware. Schweibinz’s talents were again obvious as he immediately ran at the front of the pack. In a short time racing Micro Sprints Buddy earned a “Most Improved Driver” award, turned the fastest lap of any driver at the speedway in 2016 and won seven feature races! At the age of 12 he moved to compete in the 250cc Micro Sprint class. (The drivers in the 250cc division were typically two – three times the age of Buddy.) 2017 was Buddy’s first full race season of competing in the 250cc Micro Sprint Class at Airport Speed- way in New Castle, DE. Buddy’s 15 race season consisted of 9 top five finishes and 6 top ten landing him 4th in points overall. In 2018 Buddy moved into the 270cc Class and raced the 1/4 mile track at Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro New Jersey. Due to his young age, he had to be fully approved by the New Jersey State Police . 2018 unfor- tunately proved to be a mechanically challenged year for the race team. At the end of the year and after multiple conver- sations with MFDD (Mike Fauci Driver Development). Buddy signed into the driver development program for the 2019 season, moving him into the 600cc micro sprint class at the age of 14. The development program gave Buddy the oppor- tunity to race at various tracks within 5 different states. The 2019 year has shown Buddy’s natural talent once again. His first race in the 600cc class displayed his driving capability, finishing 6th place with having mechani- cal difficulties. As the season progressed you could literally see his growth happening before your eyes. By the 16th race he had won his first feature at Linda’s Speedway in PA. Buddy placed 13th during the Pennsylvania Speed week consisting of 62 registered racers . He continually placed within the top 10 throughout the remaining season. Buddy Schweibinz Racing 17 Frances Drive Petersburg, NJ 08270 Driver: Buddy Schweibinz 609-778-8042 [email protected] 2020 racing season was a learning curve for the Buddy Schweibinz Race Team. Purchasing and managing the race car proved to be a growing experience with set up and a limited racing season, Buddy’s driving skills prevailed and he finished 4th in points at Bridge- port Speedway. The 2021 season will present a new adventure for Buddy. He will con- tinue to compete in the 600cc Micro Sprint series. Buddy is also now equipped with a 305 Race Saver Sprint Car and looking to make his mark in this series as well as the United Racing Club 360 series. Despite all of his on-track success Buddy Schweibinz is most proud of the fact that he is among the most popular drivers at every speedway at which he competes. Buddy is equally as comfortable with fans and at personal appearances as he is behind the wheel of high horsepower race- cars! The fact that Buddy enjoys signing autographs and spending time with enthusiasts both young and old is a major advantage for all partnerhsip. Partnering with Buddy Schweibinz ties your company to a proven and popular winner! The 2021 season will consist of an aggressive schedule. Buddy Schweibinz will be racing throughout New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Oklahoma, Illinois, and North Carolina. The Bud- dy Schweibinz Racing schedule runs from April through January. The team will be well equipped for the am- bitious 2021 season. Micro Sprints are small racecars that resemble older model Indianapolis cars. Most are powered by side mounted motorcycle engines and are chain driven. The cars have a chassis and a body styled like that of a full sized sprint car. Micro Sprints are generally run on small dirt oval tracks and can be raced with wings or without wings. The Buddy Schweibinz Racing No. 35 has a large aerodynamic wing mounted to the top of the roll cage. The sprint car 600cc series is a path to full sprint car racing with the potential to run World of Outlaws, the NASCAR of dirt track racing. Ryan Newman, Jason Leffler, Mike Bliss, Terry and Bobby Labonte, Reed Sorenson, Tracy Hines, J.J. Yeley, Josh Wise, Jerry Coons, Jr, Bobby Santos, III, Billy Wease, Bobby East, Kyle Krisiloff, Jay Drake, Garrett Hansen, Shannon McQueen, Scott Pierovich, Tim Skoglund, Nic Faas, Chett Gehrke................ this list goes on forever. The first pages are already colored so that you can cut them up to use as flash cards to help your driver learn the flags. You can laminate them so they last forever. Take them with you in the car and ask your driver to tell you what they mean. It will only take minutes a day, but the time spent learning them off the track, will be noticed when your driver gets buckled in to begin taking laps on the track.
