Aarhus/Copenhagen/London/Shanghai Trine Berthold/ Partner Associate Trine Berthold Arkitekt maa, Partner Associate Architect School in Aarhus (1998) Born 1973 Project Development Architect Trine Berthold has been with schmidt hammer lassen in Aarhus since 2003 and was appointed associate partner in 2006. After Trine’s graduation from the School of Architecture, she worked five years for 3XN architects in Aarhus, where she mainly worked on concept development in competitions. At schmidt hammer lassen architects, Trine has been involved in and responsible for Memberships/ several architectural competitions. Her latest success is the Urban Media Space, the Association of Danish Architects (AA) 30,000 sq. large multimedia library, which is currently under construction in the port Academy Council of the Artists of Aarhus. Another project that has been a great success for Trine is the University of Society (Akademirådets Kunstnersamfund) Aberdeen New Library, which won the first prize in an international competition in 2005. Honorary Office/ The library was inaugurated in 2011. The Academy Council’s Corps of External Urban Mediaspace has required extensive user involvement in both the design and Examinators at the School of Architecture in projecting phases, and Trine has led the user-, citizen- and developer workshops with Aarhus and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts’ great proficiency.
