Dear CBA Members,

Every year we give a scholarship to a local student(s) on behalf of the CBA. We would like to be able to continue this tradition.

As you know, due to COVID we have not been able to hold our in-person meetings. During these meetings we offer raffle tickets from a donated item from our sponsors for the evening. Those tickets that are sold, the monies go directly to the Scholarship fund.

This year has been difficult for all of us. And of course, we hope that you are doing well, and your business is surviving this difficult time.

Our annual membership dues have gone out. On those bills you have the option to donate to the Scholarship fund. We hope you will consider donating with your renewal or if you have already paid your renewal, please reach out the Meredith and tell her how much you are willing to give towards the Scholarship. This is so important that we give back to our community and help those seniors that will come back to serve our community. Any help you can give to allow us to again this year be able to give a Scholarship to our graduating seniors is greatly appreciated.

We have named the scholarships In Honor of Loren Marvin, a founding member of the CBA who was active in the local business community throughout his lifetime and Donald Standish, a community volunteer who was an active proponent of “Shopping Colchester” and supporting the local business community.

Sincerely,

Ginger Pensa CBA Scholarship Committee

The Holiday season may be over. There may not be as many newcomers as in other times of the year, but people are still moving in. The new arrivals want to know where to go for goods and services and that is where Neighbor - to - Neighbor comes in. Flexibility (on my part) is essen- tial to keep getting the messages from you the sponsors to the new homeown- ers that your business or service is here and looking forward to having them come to you. For more information on how to be a sponsor, contact Paula Weber, area representative at 860-295-0111 or email [email protected]. The website is ntnoa.com.
