Acacia julifera subsp. julifera occurrence map. O ccurrence map generated via Atlas of Living Australia (https://w w w .ala.org.au). Family Fabaceae Distribution Occurs in Qld from near Forsayth S to the N.S.W. border; possibly occurring on the North Coast of N.S.W. (but records not verified). Description Branchlets pubescent on young plants, normally glabrous on mature plants. Juvenile phyllodes pubescent with indumentum rarely persisting to mature plants. Mature phyllodes lanceolate, falcate, (6–) 7–17 cm long, 5–33 mm wide, l:w normally 4–12. Spikes (2–) 3–5 cm long. Pods terete, to 3 mm diam. Seeds to 4 mm long and 2 mm wide. Habitat Grows in coastal and subcoastal areas, often on sand-stone, in well-drained sandy soils in open eucalypt scrub-woodland or grassland.
