Shah & Jt. Treasurer Parag Shah and their Finance Team for making a marathon effort in developing a new QuickBooks based structure for handling and reporting JSMC finances and for an extraordinary drive made during the last quarter to substantially complete data-entry for all 2011 A/P-A/R transactions. As of the New Year all 2011 backlog is substantially cleared and outstanding items are being addressed. Review and reconciliations will continue through Q1-2012. The current BOT-EC team is taking a step forward with a target to report our financial performance on a quarterly basis. Note that these unaudited numbers are reported to demonstrate maximum transparency for the benefit of membership and with an eye toward planning the future. This data is reported based on posted transactions and is subject to change pending the independent CPA audit and final reconciliations until the close of 2011. JSMC is please to inform that Pujya Shri Bhadrabahu Vijayji from Ahmedabad, India has graciously accepted our invitation for the daily discourses during the celebration. Pujya Shri Bhadrabahuji joined the monk-hood at pa`vacananaa ivaYayaao the age of 13 and spent 32 years in the holy isawcak`naI saaQanaanaao maaga- company of great scholar Acharya Shri navapadnaao AMtarMga paircaya Bhadraguptsuriji. After Acharya’s death he left the parmaoiYZ padnaI paaoHITIva Aona-P monk-hood. During May 26 - 29, 2006, celebration of 117th Janma Jayanti and four days Adhyatmik Shibir were accomplished with great enthusiasm. An event was organized by Jain Swadhyay Mandir Songadh in USA (a non profit tax exempt religious organization). Mumukshus from far away places in USA and Canada participated. An eminent Scholar Rajendra Kamdar of Rajkot, India, was kind enough to conduct the four days shibir. He elaborated entire SAMAYASAR and marvelously presented entire scripture by drawing charts on board and made this Holy Scripture easy to understand. Besides whole day workshop, Jinendra Poojan, Gurudev tape pravachan, Gurudev Vadhamana, Question Answer Sessions, Gnan Gosthi, Award distribution were in the four days program. Set of five volumes: Jain Tatva Darshan was presented to all participants. Shri Nitinbhai Bhimani and Dr. Rakesh Shah also addressed the Shibir for one / two times. Jyotsana Shah of Kingston, PA nicely performed Jinendra Poojan for three days. Question Answer sessions were interesting. Shri Hasmukhbhai Vora, President: Songadh Trust, Songadh, India, was the Chief Guest. He specially flew from Bombay to grace the event for four days of the Shibir.
