DESCRIPTION & PLANNING Extending to 6.12 acres, the proposed development site comprises former agricultural land. The site is irregular in shape. Main services are available to the site. The site is allocated within the current Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan as Site OP1 for the development of 40 residential units. Savills Planning team have submitted a representation to Aberdeenshire Council to extend the allocation in the future Aberdeenshire Local Development 2021, increasing the site capacity to 60 residential units. The extended site has so far been identified as a preferred option by Aberdeenshire Council, but will be subject to further rounds of consultation.
