In response Indian officials suggested that Pakistan’s move was an empty ploy that ignored the real problem between the two countries. According to New Delhi even if the captured pilot were returned home, there would be no chance “to go back to zero” and easing tensions would be impossible until Pakistan acted against terrorist groups that it has been using as proxies against India. • Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated the importance of the Kashmir issue which lies at the roots of all bilateral issues between India and Pakistan. On February 27, 2019, the Indian government summoned the Pakistani Envoy and handed over a demarche demanding the “immediate and safe return” of the captured pilot. The US, China, Britain and other world powers have urged restraint on both sides as tensions continue to escalate between India and Pakistan. Meanwhile, Turkey said that it supports Pakistan’s position, and rejected the accusations leveled by India on Pakistan that it was behind the Pulwama attack. • There is now growing unease within Pakistan that tensions may lead to war given the Modi government’s aggressive posturing. Meanwhile India has suffered glaring contradictions during the past few days. -

Journal of Language and Translation Volume 10, Number 3, 2020, (pp.145-155) Translation Strategies in English to Persian Translation of Children's Literature based on Klingberg's Model Alireza Bahremand * ¹ M.A. in English translation, Member of the Faculty of English Language and Literature, College of Literature and Humanities, Velayat University, Iranshahr, Iran Received: 17.8.2020 Accepted: 19.9.2020 Abstract This research sought to identify the translation strategies adopted by the translator in Persian translation of 'whatever after, Fairest of all' written by 'Sarah Mlynowski' based on Klingberg's model (1986). To achieve the objectives of the study, a qualitative content analysis design was selected for it. The corpus of the study consisted of 60 pages of the novel 'whatever after, Fairest of all' written by 'Sarah Mlynowski' and its Persian translation by Sara Farazi (2019). This work was representative of children's literature. The pages were randomly selected as the corpus of the study. For data collection purposes, after the selec- tion of the English novel and its Persian translation, the researcher and an expert in translation qualitative- ly analyzed the English texts and translations to identify the strategies used in the Persian translations of the selected pages. They did this by comparing the English and Persian texts based on Klingberg‟s model (1986). Finally, they identified the most frequent translation strategy used in the English to Persian trans- lation of the novel by calculating the frequency and percentages of the identified translation strategies. Having analyzed the data, the researcher found that the following strategies were used in the Persian translation of “Whatever after, Fairest of all” written by 'Sarah Mlynowski' based on Klingberg‟s model (1986): added explanation, deletion, localization, and substitution. -

Denial of Causality by Hume and Answer of Commentators of Transcendent Wisdom of Mulla Sadra
e-ISSN 2289-6023 International Journal of Islamic Thought ISSN 2232-1314 Vol. 18: (Dec.) 2020 Denial of Causality by Hume and Answer of Commentators of Transcendent Wisdom of Mulla Sadra 1 MOHSEN MARVINAM 2020 July 30 Accepted: 2020 April 24 Received: ABSTRACT Hume divides all propositions into two parts: the relations of ideas and matters of fact. He considers the first part certain and matters of fact that makes us aware of the future and can take us beyond sensory perception are uncertain. He believes all reasoning about matters of fact is based on the relation of cause and effect and the principle of uniformity of nature. Based on his especial epistemology, argues that the principle of causality is a mental habit and the principle of uniformity of nature is matter of facts must be proved by experience that its proof and argument is probable that leads to a circle and ultimately expresses his skepticism. Commentators of transcendent wisdom based on the intuitive knowledge of the soul in its own works and actions, proved the idea of causality. They have discussed the unity of sensory and sensible theory, along with the principle of self-evident of causality that these theories only explain the origin of the concept of causality and its generality. However, the main question is how can causality be attributed to objective instances? In response, we have discussed the combination and sum of reason and sense using the experimental method. Keywords: causality, David Hume, Mulla Sadra, skepticism, transcendent wisdom David Hume (1711-1776) is generally considered as the most important philosopher in English and the last of the great triumvirate of “British empiricists” challenged traditional philosophical beliefs in ways that influenced the readers of his day. -
