Speaking of Denny, There’s Never Been A Car That Denny Didn’t Like

A while back Denny was at a car auction in Arizona when a man approached him. He recognized that Denny liked old cars and told him that he had a Model A for sale. Denny said that he already owned a couple of Model A’s and probably would not be interested in any more Model A’s. The man further explained that it was a really nice car and he thought that he had it priced right, but he had not been successful in finding a buyer. Denny with a sympathetic ear said, “I’ll tell you what, take some pictures and send them to me and when I get back home I’ll see if I can help you find a customer.” The pictures came. It was a really nice car. Denny called the man and said that he would like to see the car. At this point Denny figured that he would probably buy the car so he hooked up the trailer and headed to San Diego. The man had previously told Denny that he had some out-of-town business to attend to, but the neighbor lady could help him. They are in a gated community. When arriving at the gate, just call the lady’s number and she would come out and show him the way in. Here’s Denny at the gate. He phones the lady. She says she’ll be right out. Here comes a lady in a golf cart wearing a hat. ONLY A HAT ! The Model A had belonged to a man that lived in a nudist community. Did Denny buy the car? YOU BET HE DID !

Carson Picks Up His “New” Project Car

It came with a few extra parts, but there’s probably a couple of issues yet to be resolved !

SNMTC Takes A Ride Out To Callville Bay

Callville Bay serves as a marina on the northwestern side of , about 15 miles north of Hoover Dam. Did you know that before being known as Callville, it was Call’s Landing, a Morman settlement on the ? Bishop established the port colony in 1864 with the purpose of warehousing goods that were shipped along the Colorado River by steamboat. With the construction of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead now provides sustenance to nearly 20 million people even though the water level has remained below full capacity since 1983. As of April of this year it sits at 42% capacity, which is actually slightly more than the 2019 level. The lake was named after Elwood Mead who was a professor, politician and an engineer that headed up the United States Bureau of Reclamation. During his career he was responsible for Hoover, Grand Coulee and Owyhee dam projects.
