The Shanghai International Technology Fair has informed enterprises in the Fujian Pavilion of the industry’s latest developments and brought them new business opportunities, contributing to some partnership initiatives. ——Fujian Provincial Trade Promotion Center, the organizer of the Fujian Pavilion Altogether we held 135 meetings, and are expected to reach 45 cooperation agreements, with the total value of potential contracts exceeding ￡137 million. Our booth also received great attention, with fantastic results. —— Exhibition team of Global Retool Group, Saarland State, Germany Visitors 58,200 visits from 45 countries and regions, 81.5% of which were professionals During the 3-day 7th CSITF, there were a total of 58,200 visitors from nearly 30 Chinese provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and municipalities with independent planning status, as well as 45 foreign countries and regions, including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Russia, France, South Korea, the Netherlands, Canada, the Czech Republic, the United States, Norway, Japan, Spain, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. Achievements of Exhibitors The China-Germany Center for Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence and its incubation center were unveiled in Putuo District, Shagnhai. NextVPU concluded agreements with AI enterprises in the North American pavilion such as UBI. Canada’s MaxCapital had discussions with China’s DeepBlue Technology and yielded a letter of intent for cooperation. Shanxi Polyurea Protective Materials Co. Ltd. signed letters of intent with Tongji University for research cooperation and with companies such as Shanghai Chengtou Group Corpora- tion and Daohing Trading LLC. Forums An opening forum, three theme days, and 57 specialized forums and thematic sessions During the 7th Shanghai International Technology Fair, a wide range of events were held such as opening forum,three theme days, 57 specialized forums and thematic sessions, and 67 CSITF Release activities. The three theme days, namely the Honorary Guest City Day, the UNIDO Day, and the Intellectual Property Day, were well received. A total of over 2,800 professionals in various fields actively participated in these events. TECH CREATES WORLD 一技一世界 | Pavilions | 1. Pavilion of Honorary Guest Cities The pavilion showcased the latest and cutting-edge technologies of the guest states and cities of honor, and further promoted the technological exchange and cooperation among Chinese and foreign enterprises through technology matchmaking meetings, thus achiev- ing win-win results. 2. Technology Innovation Pavilion The pavilion focused on presenting and releasing the latest authoritative scientific research innovations and transferable projects both at home and abroad. focusing on leading, authoritative and innovative technological achievements and scientific research projects at home and abroad. 3.Urban Renewal Pavilion With the theme of "Safe and Efficient Urban New Life", it covers urban micro renewal, urban emergency defense system construction, smart city in 5G era, new infrastructure construc- tion, energy conservation and environmental protection, intelligent epidemic prevention, etc. 4. Professional Technology Pavilion Service robot: set up "Ai Service Robot Theme Pavilion" to create an in-depth experience environment integrating service robot products & practices on epidemic prevention, cleaning, catering, voice interaction, etc; Biomedicine: focus on anti-epidemic drugs and materials, and focus on the display of advanced technologies and equipment in biological products, innovative chemical drugs, medical devices and other fields 5. Robert Cox) This study is the first in-depth examination of the Federalist Society, the nation’s preeminent organization of conservative and libertarian lawyers. Founded by a few enterprising young college friends in the early days of the Reagan administration, its participants now number 40,000 lawyers, policymakers, judges, and law students. The Society functions as a forum for debate, intellectual exchange, and engagement between the factions on the right as well as their liberal opponents—hence my use of rhetorical theory. I explore how Federalists have promoted conservative legal theories of interpretation, such as originalism and textualism, and also how have also fueled the broader project of the American right to unmake the liberal consensus on a wide range of legal and social issues from Affirmative Action and race to foreign policy. As such, it naturally applies to United States policy toward Hong Kong.” China’s law establishing the Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR), commonly referred to as the “Basic Law,” declares that “the ultimate aim” is the selection of Hong Kong’s Chief Executive (CE) and Legislative Council (Legco) by universal suffrage. The year 2015 may be a pivotal year for making progress toward the objectives of both of these laws. It could also be a year in which the democratic aspirations of many Hong Kong residents remain unfulfilled. Hong Kong’s current Chief Executive, Leung Chun-ying, initiated a six-step process in July 2014 whereby Hong Kong’s Basic Law could be amended to allow the selection of the Chief Executive by universal suffrage in 2017. On August 31, 2014, China’s National People’s Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) completed the second step of the reform process when it issued a decision setting comparatively strict conditions on the adoption of universal suffrage for the 2017 CE elections that seemingly preclude the nomination of a pro-democracy candidate. The third step of the process, the CE submitting legislation to Legco to amend the Basic Law, came on June 17.

Hungtington dan Joan M. Nelson. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini bersifat studi pustaka menggunakan data sekunder dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber seperti dokumen negara, statistik dan laporan lembaga resmi, jurnal internasional, artikel internasional, buku cetak dan elektronik serta lembaga penelitian internasional Aksi protes politik masyarakat Hong Kong pada tahun 2014 dan 2019 merupakan aksi protes terbesar dalam sejarah Hong Kong. Kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah Hong Kong menjadi latar belakang terjadinya aksi protes politik.

It situates this case study in the framework of a set of analytical perspectives about policy change derived from public policy theory, arguing that public policy theory has either underestimated policy leadership or failed to discriminate different leadership roles, styles and strategies. The author rejects the dominant contextualist and culturalist approach to leadership in studies of German defence and security policy in favour of an interactionist approach that stresses the dialectical interaction between policy skills and strategic context.

Martin Specialist in Asian Affairs June 9, 2015 Congressional Research Service 7-5700 www.crs.gov R44031 Prospects for Democracy in Hong Kong: The 2017 Election Reforms Summary The United States-Hong Kong Policy Act of 1992 (P.L. 102-383) states, “Support for democratization is a fundamental principle of U.S. foreign policy. As such, it naturally applies to United States policy toward Hong Kong.” China’s law establishing the Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR), commonly referred to as the “Basic Law,” declares that “the ultimate aim” is the selection of Hong Kong’s Chief Executive (CE) and Legislative Council (Legco) by universal suffrage. The year 2015 may be a pivotal year for making progress toward the objectives of both of these laws. It could also be a year in which the democratic hopes and aspirations of many Hong Kong residents remain unfulfilled. Hong Kong’s current Chief Executive, Leung Chun-ying, initiated a six-step process in July 2014 whereby Hong Kong’s Basic Law could be amended to allow the selection of the Chief Executive by universal suffrage in 2017. On August 31, 2014, China’s National People’s Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) completed the second step of the reform process when it issued a decision setting comparatively strict conditions on the adoption of universal suffrage for the 2017 CE elections that seemingly preclude the nomination of a pro-democracy candidate. On April 22, 2015, the Hong Kong government announced the main elements of its CE election reform proposal.
