Walk down the road and check out all the restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, shops, Chinese supermarkets, vintage shops and supermarkets. 2. At the end of West Street, cross the road using the pedestrian crossing and take a left on to Leopold Street. See All Bar One, 8oz Burger Co and Leopold Square. 3. Walk to Orchard Square and see TK Maxx and Waterstones. 4. Turn Right into the precinct and head through to Fargate. On Fargate there are banks, shops, cafes and at the bottom a pharmacy. 5. Walk them towards the Cathedral and check out the trams which will take you all over Sheffield! 6. Using the route map head towards Crucible Square and check The Lyceum, The Crucible and the Library Theatres. Remember to use your student discount when buying any tickets! 7. Go inside the Winter Gardens and walk through until you arrive at The Peace Gardens 8. Walk through the Peace Gardens, this is a great place to enjoy the sun and at certain times during the year there are outside markets here. 9. Using the route map head toward The Moor, here you’ll find another selections of shops! 10. Using the route map, head to Division Street, here you’ll find plenty of independent shops and retailers and load of vintage stores. 11. At the end of Division point to West One a complex full of bars and restaurants 12. Walk back on to West Street, cross the road using the pedestrian crossing and go up Regent Street and head back to Allen Court 1 2 .

A series of reports have been produced by Sheffield City Council to investigate air quality throughout the City, including most recently the Stage 4 Review and Assessment report published in December 2002. These reports forecast that annual average concentrations of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) will exceed the standard laid down in the national air quality strategy in designated Air Action Zones1 in two parts of Sheffield, the City Centre and areas around the M1. The largest contributions to NO2 levels in the two AAZs are from road traffic (for both the M1 and the city centre) and ‘area’ sources (for the city centre alone, covering the domestic, commercial, public and small industry sectors).
