Also stain vertical surfaces (walls) prior to installation, if possible; otherwise work these surfaces from bottom to top until saturated in order to prevent running PNZ BLEACH STAIN lines. Wood moisture content should be less than 18%. Bleach stain and room temperature at least 18°C. For better coverage: Apply 2 coats, allowig at least 3 hours drying time in between coats. Keep working area warm and well ventilated. Moving air and temperatures over 20°C speed up the drying process. Do not touch stained surfaces for at least 3 hours. Protect from water for at least 2 days! Afterwards treatable with almost all PNZ products. 2. Treated wood: Wood must be clean, oil- and resin-free. Stain test area to test absorbency. Do not allow the stain to accumulate in white puddles! Treated wood that has been lacquered, glazed, - ted, oiled or waxed (or may have been waxed) must be degreased in any case using PNZ BASIC and LAMINATE CLEANER; light sanding using sand is recommended. Use: Depending on type of coniferous wood and dilution, approximately 60-100 ml per m2. Apply 1 coat undiluted. Depending on the type of wood and surface. Cleaning: Clean all tools using soapy water. Storage: Cool and frost-free. Lasts 3 years. Once container is opened, transfer contents to smaller container, close airtight and use up shortly after. ➥please turn over Our technical advice in written form is given in good faith and on the basis of experiments, but it is only non-binding advice and does not release you from the obligation to test the products supplied by us as to their suitability for the particular purpose. PRODUCT INFORMATION

PNZ WOOD BRIGHTENER ■ For all types of wood ■ For interior and exterior applications

Suitable for: All woods indoors and outdoors, such as windows, window shutters, façade coverings, doors, fences, balconies, profile wood, sheds, garage doors and beehives. In connection with PNZ products, PNZ WOOD BRIGHTENER brightens dark and weathered wood and is used as a renovation stain that provides the wood with fresh color. The solvent-free stain is weather-resistant, highly water-repellent and environmentally friendly. At the same time, PNZ WOOD BRIGHTENER is highly UV-resistant, long-lasting and odorless. A subsequent coat of solvent-free PNZ WOOD STAIN, for example, gives the impression of freshly stained wood by using the graining technique.

Application/ ■ The surface must be clean, free of dust and oil, dry and intact. Treatment: ■ Completely remove loose old paintwork, dirt and other types of contamination. ■ Where there is a risk of fungus, the wood should be pre-treated with PNZ IMPREGNA- TION PRIMER W210. ■ Application temperature (including drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <18%. ■ Drying time approximately 8-12 hours (depending on temperature and humidity). May be re-coated after 2-4 hours. ■ Acts differently on differing surfaces. Trial coats are absolutely necessary. ■ Stir contents well before and during use. Apply PNZ WOOD BRIGHTENER 1-3 times by brushing, spraying, rolling or spraying until the wood is evenly and completely coated. In case of seepage of wood substances or old oily stains, pre-coat or intermediately coat with PNZ INSULATION PRIMER. Then apply another coat of PNZ WOOD BRIGHTENER. Use: Approximately 100 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ WOOD BRIGHTENER yields approximately 10 m2 per coat. With unplaned or rippled wood, the use may double or triple. Cleaning: Clean all tools using soapy water. Storage: Cool and frost-free. Lasts 3 years when unopened. Once container is opened, transfer contents to smaller container, close airtight and use up shortly after.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

PNZ COLOR OIL ■ For all types of wood ■ Solvent-free

Suitable for: All for domestic and exotic woods such as windows, window shutters, façade coverings, half-timbered houses, doors, fences, balconies, cork, floors and sheds as well as beehives and playground equipment for both indoors and outdoors. Solvent-free PNZ COLOR OIL provides color, protection and care. Its high spreading capacity makes it ideal for reno- vating sound old paintwork and new premium paintwork.

Application/ ■ The untreated wood surface must be clean, free of dust, oil and dry. Treatment: ■ Application temperature (including drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <18%. Humidity 60%. ■ Where there is a risk of fungus the wood should be pre-treated with PNZ IMPREGNA- TION PRIMER W210. ■ Drying time: approximately 6-24 hours (weather permitting). Dust dry after about 1 hour. ■ Recoating also when dry after approximately 2-6 hours. ■ Stir contents well before and during use. ■ Any color may be mixed with another. ■ Acts differently on differing surfaces. Trial coats are absolutely necessary. ■ Opaque shades can be changed to translucent by adding “clear” color shade. Apply PNZ COLOR OIL by brushing, spraying, rolling or submerging on the dry wood. For durability and UV protection we recommend 1-2 coats (interior: 1 coat). Use PNZ COLOR OIL “clear” shade in conjunction with colored stain for sufficient UV protection in exterior applications. The milky oil from the can dries in the specified shade. With bright colored paint wood components colors may break through. (Insulation, in particular, of cork, oak, larch, cedar, teak, OSB boards, etc. with PNZ INSULATION PRIMER.) After applying the color stain on flooring, use a colorless coat of PNZ COLOR OIL or PNZ HARD WAX OIL to protect the pigments from abrasion. For durable, extra water protection, we recommend a final coat with PNZ WATER BLOCKER. Use: Approximately 50 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ COLOR OIL yields approximately 20 m2 per coat. Depending on type of wood and surface. With unplaned or rippled wood, the use may double or triple. ➥please turn over Our technical advice in written form is given in good faith and on the basis of experiments, but it is only non-binding advice and does not release you from the obligation to test the products supplied by us as to their suitability for the particular purpose. PRODUCT INFORMATION

PNZ WOOD STAIN ■ Solvent-free and oil-based ■ For interior and exterior applications

Suitable for: For all woods, such as windows, window shutters, sheds, façade coverings, half-timbered houses, doors, fences, balconies, and garden furniture for both indoors and outdoors. Also suitable for beehives. PNZ WOOD STAIN is an environmentally friendly, weather- resistant, highly water-repellant stain that permanently protects the treated surfaces against UV rays. Based on natural oils, non-dripping, open-pored, moisture-controlling and odorless.

Application/ ■ Surface must be free of oils, clean, free of dust and dry (possibly sanded). Treatment: ■ Application temperature (including drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <18%. ■ Acts differently on differing surfaces. Trial coats are absolutely necessary. ■ Stir contents well before and during use. ■ Where there is a risk of fungus the wood should be pre-treated with PNZ IMPREGNA- TION PRIMER W210. ■ Follow-up treatment with PNZ WATER BLOCKER increases the wood’s durability. Apply PNZ WOOD STAIN by spraying, rolling or submerging. In general, you may over- paint old, still intact stains. For best possible durability: 2 coats with interior and 3 coats with exterior applications. Stain will be dust-dry after approximately 1 hour, free of blocking after 8-24 hours (in wet and cold weather conditions or high humidity, the dry- ing time may be extended), and re-stainable after 3-5 hours. Use “clear” color shade only in connection with a colored stain in exterior applications (UV protection). Stain appears milky inside the can, however dries in the specified color shade. Certain woods (e.g. oak, larch, cedar, teak, etc.) and cork may exhibit color seepage from wood materials. These may be isolated using PNZ ISOLATION PRIMER. Use: Approximately 60-85 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ WOOD STAIN yields approximately 12-15 m2 surface per coat. With unplaned or rippled wood, the use may double or triple. Cleaning: Clean all tools using soapy water immediately after use. Storage: Cool and frost-free. Lasts 3 years when unopened. Once container is opened, transfer contents to smaller container, close airtight and use up shortly after. ➥please turn over Our technical advice in written form is given in good faith and on the basis of experiments, but it is only non-binding advice and does not release you from the obligation to test the products supplied by us as to their suitability for the particular purpose. PRODUCT INFORMATION

PNZ EXTERIOR OIL ■ For all types of wood ■ For exterior applications

Suitable for: Domestic and exotic woods with new and renovation staining (wood decks, wood pa- tios, façade coverings, windows, doors, sheds, half-timbered houses, playground equip- ment, etc.). With its non-film-forming surface and excellent deep impregnation, colored PNZ EXTERIOR OIL protects from extreme climate impact. Similar to bark, it attaches to the wood capillaries and thus creates a highly water-repelling, weather- and UV-resis- tant surface. PNZ EXTERIOR OIL is free of toxic agents, odorless after drying and nonhaz- ardous in terms of environmental compatibility. Wood expansion as well as cracks are prevented to the greatest possible extent.

Application/ ■ The wood surface must be frost-free, clean, free of dust and dry. Treatment: ■ Application temperature (including drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <18%. ■ Acts differently on differing surfaces. Trial coats are absolutely necessary. ■ Pre-treatment with PNZ IMPREGNATION PRIMER W210 protects against blueness and decay. ■ Final coat with PNZ WATER BLOCKER provides additional water protection. Apply colored PNZ EXTERIOR OIL to blank, untreated wood. After two to three coats us- ing a brush, roll or spray nozzle with intermediate drying of 12 hours between each coat, the wood will be weather-resistant. Final treatment with natural PNZ EXTERIOR OIL ex- tends abrasion protection (esp. patios). Remove all oil paints, thick layer systems and old pore-closing stains by means of sanding, etching or flame cleaning. Clean open-pored stain and lightly sand, if necessary. Then stain as described above. Use: Approximately 60-70 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ EXTERIOR OIL yields approximately 15 m2 oiled surface per coat. PNZ WOOD GRAYING SOLUTION ■ For all types of wood ■ For exterior applications

Suitable for: Outdoor wood surfaces (wood decks, wood patios, façade coverings, windows, doors, sheds, half-timbered houses, playground equipment, etc.). PNZ WOOD GRAYING SO- LUTION provides decorative pre-graying of wood surfaces. The product creates a silver-gray weathering effect as found with natural finished wood surfaces. Due to its non-film-forming surface with excellent deep impregnation, the pigmented PNZ WOOD GRAYING SOLUTION protects against extreme climate conditions. It creates a water- repellant, weather- and UV-resistant surface. PNZ WOOD GRAYING SOLUTION is free of toxic substances, odorless after drying and environmentally compatible. It prevents ex- pansion and cracking of the wood to the greatest possible extent. PNZ WOOD GRAYING SOLUTION is unsusceptible to most household chemicals such as beer, wine, fruit juices and water. The open-pored and diffusion permeable stain resembles the natural gray- ing of natural wood surfaces outdoors caused by weather conditions and is ideal for the follow-up treatment of weathered wood surfaces.

Application/ ■ Surface must be frost-free, clean, free of dust and dry. Treatment: ■ Application temperature (including drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <18%. ■ Acts differently on differing surfaces. Trial coats are absolutely necessary. ■ Where there is a risk of blueness and decay (particularly with softwood), the wood should be pre-treated with PNZ IMPREGNATION PRIMER. ■ Apply a final coat of PNZ WATER BLOCKER for added water protection. Apply PNZ WOOD GRAYING SOLUTION to blank, untreated wood. After two to three coats using a brush, roll or spray nozzle with intermediate drying of 12 hours between each coat, the wood will be weather-resistant. A final coat of natural PNZ EXTERIOR OIL extends abrasion resistance (particularly with patios). Remove oil paints, thick layer sys- tems and all other pore-closing old stains by means of sanding, stripping or flame clean- ing. Clean open-pored stains and sand, if necessary. Then stain as described above. Use: Approximately 60-70 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ WOOD GRAYING SOLUTION yields ap- proximately 15 m2 oiled surface per coat. With unplaned or rippled wood, the use may double or triple. ➥please turn over Our technical advice in written form is given in good faith and on the basis of experiments, but it is only non-binding advice and does not release you from the obligation to test the products supplied by us as to their suitability for the particular purpose. PNZ HARD WAX OIL ■ For interior applications ■ For flooring and furniture

Suitable for: All stressed interior surfaces, such as wood flooring, cork, children’s toys, OSB boards, plywood, countertops, furniture, screed, baked clay and unglazed tile. Also in wet rooms such as kitchen and bathroom. Well suited for preschools, schools, nursing homes, etc. PNZ HARD WAX OIL is a moisture-controlling, clear surface product. Treated surfaces will be highly water-repelling and resistant against common food products and household chemicals in accordance with DIN 68861-1C and anti-slip category R9 DIN 51130.

Application/ ■ Surface must be free of oil, clean, free of dust and dry (possibly sanded). Treatment: ■ Application temperature (including drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <15%. ■ Acts differently on differing surfaces. Trial coats are absolutely necessary. ■ Refinish holes and cracks with PNZ REPAIR PASTE. PNZ HARD WAX OIL may be used both manually and mechanically. Apply first coat with a paintbrush, foam roll or lacquer spatula. Remove excess after 10 minutes and mas- sage residue into the wood using a pad. Let dry for 8-10 hours while keeping the area well ventilated. Proceed with second coat using the process of the first coat. The surface may then be polished after complete drying (approximately 24 hours). The polishing increases the wood’s durability. Timber floorboards may be treated individually prior to installation. With cross-grained wood and highly absorbing woods, such as beech, etc., we recommend three coats as described above. Absolute hardening time 8-10 days. Use: Approximately 50 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ HARD WAX OIL yields approximately 20 m2 oiled surface per coat. Maintenance: Sweep dry, then wipe off with a moist cloth. With high contamination use PNZ WOOD FLOOR SOAP diluted in water. For continuous maintenance, use PNZ EMOILLENT and then treat with PNZ WOOD OIL, if needed. Repair highly stressed or damaged areas with- out sanding: Clean with PNZ BASIC and LAMINATE CLEANER, then apply thin layer of PNZ HARD WAX OIL. Cleaning: Clean all tools using PNZ SPECIAL THINNER.

PNZ FINISHFILL ■ Edge protection impregnation for laminate, parquet and cork

Suitable for: Specially for the edge impregnation of laminate, cork and sealed and waxed / oiled click- parquet. PNZ FINISHFILL prevents the absorption of water at side seams and front edges and thus the expansion and graying of these areas. The product is a ready-to-use initial treatment.

Application/ ■ Surface must be dry, clean, and free of oil dust. Treatment: ■ Application temperature: optimum climate conditions at 20°C, relative humidity 50%. ■ Drying time at optimum climate conditions approximately 2-3 hours. Otherwise significantly longer. ■ Do not step on flooring during specified drying time. ■ Treatment in several sections of the flooring recommended. Apply PNZ FINISHFILL using a metal or plastic spatula with rounded corners. PNZ FIN- ISHFILL must be worked into the seams. The higher greater the depth of penetration, the higher the water resistance. Apply the product as thin as possibly to surfaces to make polishing easier. The surface must be polished immediately after the application of PNZ FINISHFILL. It is essential that the polishing process be finished prior to complete drying (with large surfaces we recommend mechanical polishing – otherwise use a polishing cloth). Thorough polishing reduces the drying time. Use: Approximately 15-20 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ FINISHFILL yields approximately 50-65 m2 surface per coat. Cleaning: Clean all tools using PNZ SPECIAL THINNER. Storage: Cool and frost-free. Lasts 5 years when unopened. Once container is opened, transfer contents to smaller container, close airtight and use up shortly after. Ingredients: Disaromatized hydrocarbons, refined natural oils and natural wax. Important notice: S2: Keep away from children. May cause allergic reactions. Disposal: Recycle only empty containers. PNZ BASIC & LAMINATE CLEANER cleans waxed and oiled floors prior to initial installation and removes old glossy and polymeric layers, waxes, oil films and other contaminations.

Application/ ■ With delicate flooring such as linoleum or high gloss surfaces, test surface in Treatment: inconspicuous area (trial application). PNZ ETCHING POWDER is water-soluble. Any of the color shades may be mixed with each other; differ- ent amounts of water create different color shades as well. Disposal: Recycle only empty containers. Dry material residues may be disposed of via household waste or construction waste. Dispose of liquid residues at col- lection point for waste paints. PRODUCT INFORMATION

PNZ ANTIQUE WAX ■ Manufactured using traditional formulas ■ Made from pure bees wax and other selected raw materials

Suitable for: Restoration, protection and maintenance of antique furniture, carvings, picture frames. PNZ ANTIQUE WAX reconditions already treated wood and nourishes all types of raw wood on the interior, such as wood ceilings, paneling, beams, scaffoldings and cork. PNZ ANTIQUE WAX also treats wood that has been stripped of paint. It preserves its diffusion capability, has an anti-static effect and protects from moisture and environmental influ- ences (esp. during the heating period). In the process, it preserves the wood’s natural beauty.

Application/ ■ The wood surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust and oils. Treatment: ■ Pre-treating the wood with the clear PNZ HARD WAX OIL or PNZ FURNITURE OIL in- creases its resistance to any liquids, such as beer, wine or water. ■ Acts differently on differing surfaces. Trial coats are absolutely necessary. ■ Painted furniture should be tested for color fastness in an inconspicuous area, because “new” colors may cause blurring. ■ You may choose to liquefy PNZ ANTIQUE WAX in a water bath in order to create an im- pregnation effect. Equally apply a thin layer of PNZ ANTIQUE WAX using a lint-free cloth or soft brush and work into the wood. After thorough drying, you may polish the surface with the grain using a cloth or a brush. If needed, apply a second coat with highly absorbent surfaces. Wood that has been etched or stripped of paint can regain their surface’s natural color with PNZ ANTIQUE WAX pine. Use: Approximately 50-65 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ ANTIQUE WAX yields approximately 15-20 m2 per coat. Depending on the type of wood and surface (the exact amount can be calculated after a test). Cleaning: Clean all tools using PNZ SPECIAL THINNER. Storage: Cool and frost-free. Lasts 5 years when unopened. Once container is opened, transfer contents to smaller container, close airtight and use up shortly after.

PNZ LINSEED OIL VARNISH ■ Solvent-free ■ Natural product

Suitable for: Treatment of wood, plaster, brickwork and clinker surfaces, as well as oiling of canvas and as primer for oil paints. PNZ LINSEED OIL VARNISH, a natural wood protective agent, provides a durable, open-pored stain for all mentioned materials. The pure, non-resinous, non-toxic product creates an impregnated film and highlights the wood grain.

Application/ ■ Surface must be clean, free of oil and dry. Treatment: ■ Application temperature (including drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <18%. ■ Drying time 12-36 hours (depending on temperature and humidity). ■ Apply coats sparingly. ■ Pigmentation (color addition) is necessary with exterior applications to guarantee protection against graying. On wood: Dilute PNZ LINSEED OIL VARNISH with appropriate thinner (e.g. PNZ SPECIAL THINNER 1:1) and apply using a brush or cloth. Remove excess material with a lint-free cloth after approximately 30 minutes (not with exterior applications). Exterior applica- tions require multiple coats: 1st coat: 50% thinner (sand after drying time); 2nd coat: ap- proximately 30% thinner; 3rd coat: approximately 10% thinner. On plaster, brickwork, clinker: Apply PNZ LINSEED OIL VARNISH to surface thinned 1:1. Regarding oil paints: Mix PNZ LINSEED OIL VARNISH with common, appropriate color pigments to form a paste. Then further mix PNZ LINSEED OIL VARNISH with turpentine or white spirit to become paintable. Use: Approximately 100 ml per m2, i.e. 1 liter PNZ LINSEED OIL VARNISH yields approximately 10 m2 per coat. Depending on type of wood and surface (planed or unplaned). With rippled wood, the use may double. Cleaning: Clean all tools using PNZ SPECIAL THINNER. Storage: Cool and frost-free. Lasts 5 years when unopened. Once container is opened, transfer contents to smaller container, close airtight and use up shortly after.
