Statement For Statement Against Hello,

I am writing in support for Spokane County Fire District 8’s levy lid lift, which No statement was would go from $1.14 to $1.50. I am a resident of the district and am incredibly submitted against this issue. happy to have a fire station close to my home. Speaking with our firefighters and commissioners I am supportive of their decision to bring forth a levy lid lift. With this lid lift our fire department can increase staffing, which they can continue their quick and professional response, continue to ensure paramedics are staffed, update the aging fleet of engines and brush trucks, just in time for wildland season as well as to update the facilities they live in, providing 24/7 coverage. I know asking for a tax increase is not easy for people, but this tax increase stays in our community which directly provides us with a great service. I am also happy to know the FIRE levy will never go above $1.50 for the next 6 years. Please join me in supporting our fire department and firefighters.

Sincerely,

Rachelle Flatt
