Funded by Washington Area Committee this new project aims to support people aged 55+, who live in Washington, and have recently been discharged from hospital. Those who fit this criteria will be given the opportunity to build their confidence, engage in therapeutic activities, get out and about, meet new people and enhance their social networks.

Washington Mind will be working with local partners, The Washington Millennium Centre and Community Hall to deliver lunch clubs for the project.
