The Gulval area of There are a number of suitable roads along Penzance already has strong links with which the split could be made including Ludgvan and it is appropriate that area of the Creeping Lane. Penzance Heamoor and Treneere, to the north and east of the town . We strongly oppose the Cornwall Council submission that has effectively merged this We agree with the Council’s proposals for CNA with that of St Ives and Hayle, it has split Division 6, Marazion and St Erth. This creates the Ludgvan Parish between 3 divisions, it has a division of 4 complete parishes with similar mixed very urban estates to the north of villages with common services and Penzance with very rural areas and it has also infrastructure. broken up the Newlyn parish. We agree with the Council’s proposals for Division 1 and St Just seems an appropriate name for this division. It consists of 4 complete parishes that contain villages with a great deal in common and shared schools and services. Our submission for Division 2 differs slightly to that of Cornwall Council. We think it is wrong to split off part of the Newlyn parish into another division but we would split the IPP2 parish to bring an electorate into the West Penwith Community St Just 1 ISJ1 1460 ISJ2 934 Network Area ISJ3 617 ISJ4 866 ISN1 576 ISN2 101 ISA1 381 ISA2 151 ISL 388 5474 Newlyn & St Buryan 2 INM1 924 INM2 537 INM3 1169 INM4 604 INM5 301 IPA 209 ISB1 1033 ISB2 156 Part IPP2 700 5633 Ludgvan, Madron & Gulval 3 ILN1 1298 ILN2 563 ILN3 491 ILN4 213 ILN5 197 IPG1 662 IPG2 535 IMD1 457 IMD2 825 IZR 174 IMH 56 5471 Penzance Promenade & Central 4 IPP1 814 Part IPP2 675 IPP3 1022 IPC1 1114 IPC4 1104 IPC3 510 Part IPE2 400 5639 Penzance Heamoor & Treneere 5 IPH1 943 IPH2 1234 IPC2 585 IPE1 1254 Part IPE2 490 IPE3 1102 5608 Marazion & St Erth 6 IMZ 1213 IPR1 1654 IPR2 331 ISH 695 IER 1204 ISM 21 5118 West Penwith Community Network Area 3 6 1 5 4 2 3 5 4 2 Hayle & St Ives Community Network Area 4 Divisions Narrative St Ives & Hayle CNA It was felt very strongly that there should be a division that contained the centre of St Ives St Ives 7 and represented the town’s interests.
