Full back Paul D’Amario anchors the middle, while Dominic Bell is a dangerous wing-back who can join the rush. Fresh- men Alex Lewis and Andrew Walton are solid additions to the team in their first year. In the middle, Daniel Frankel, Eric Amato and Daniel Baxa are great two way players with a good scoring touch, while Camillo Gonzales and Vince Caminiti are excellent on the wings in Western’s 4-4-2 set. Strikers Niko Mavrikos, who led the team and was second in the OUA with 10 goals, and Pat Mroczek, a former CIS rookie of year who missed most of the regular season with injury are threats up front. Mike Sawchuk provides great experience as Western’s only fifth-year player and adds height as a forward substitution. After going on a major run to start the season with an 13-game unbeaten streak, the Mustangs finished the season 11-1- 4, with a 2-1 showing in the playoffs. The only two losses - one in the regular season and one in the playoffs - came to the two other teams at nationals and both were on grass at York Stadium. Western lost 3-2 to York in a come-from-behind Lions victory on Oct. 17 at York Stadium. Then the Mustangs lost to Toronto 3-1 in the OUA semifinal on Saturday Nov. 6 at York Stadium. Western defeated McMaster 3-1 in the OUA West semifinal to advance to the OUA Final Four and defeated Ryerson in penalty kicks 3-2 (5-3 on kicks) to win the bronze-medal game and advance to nationals. They have been nationally ranked most of the season. My work at the American Society of Civil Engineers in the early 1990s was propelled by Preston Haskell, Chairman of The Haskell Company, Jacksonville, FL, who significantly expanded the dissemination of my report of the deliberations of ASCE’s Design-Build Task Force, and who later founded the Design- Build Institute of America (DBIA) where I served for a decade as chief executive. At DBIA’s first Professional Design-Build Conference in Atlanta in 1994, I had the distinct pleasure of working with Prof. Saeid Sadri of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Our collaboration and friendship led to a Teaching Assistantship position within the College of Architecture as an instructor for graduate-level project delivery and project management courses.

  • Aurora FC Stopped Short by Unbeaten Clubs
This page was exported from - The Auroran Export date: Mon Sep 27 12:23:09 2021 / +0000 GMT Aurora FC stopped short by unbeaten clubs By Jake Courtepatte Both sides of Aurora FC entered week six looking to hand their opponents their first loss of the League1 Ontario season, yet both remained unbeaten when the dust cleared. The men entered Sunday's matchup on the opposite end of the spectrum from their opponent Toronto FC III, still in search of their first win of the season while the Junior Reds enjoyed a three-game winning streak. Aurora head coach Derek O'Keeffe knew his team's best chance at a win was by playing a defensive style of game, allowing Toronto most of the possession in the first half though limiting their chances. Poor luck was the culprit behind Toronto's opening goal at the 23-minute mark, when a mistimed tackle by an Aurora defender took down a Toronto attacker in the box. Goaltender Adam Scanlon guessed wrong on the penalty kick, giving Toronto an early 1 ? 0 lead, though Aurora stormed back thirteen minutes later when team scoring leaders Dylan Rennie and Morey Doner connected to tie the score on their only shot of the half. Surprising Toronto by bringing a 1 ? 1 tie into halftime, the league's top team brought their offense early in the second half, beating Scanlon in close to once again take the lead. Toronto put the game away for good on a tap-in in the 67th minute, while Aurora managed zero shots on net in the latter frame.

He received his doctoral education at the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario. His research expertise covers intellectual capital, knowledge management and organisational learning. The collection of papers contained in this special edition of the IJBGE contains studies related to economic crime prevention. The next paper by McKay et al. examines the psychopathology of the white-collar criminal acting as a corporate leader. Booker and Bontis examine the extent to which economic crime can be curbed by using RFIT enabled currency. The study by Barnes examines the UK experience of stock market efficiency, insider dealing and market abuse. Sproule and Archer report on a 2008 survey of Canadian consumer experience related to identify theft and identity fraud. The paper by Farooqi examines the use of Hawala for money laundering and terrorist financing. Tovstiga et al. examine the findings of a NATO funded project investigating the nature of innovation in open collaborative communities and implications for cyber security, particularly as they apply to hacker communities. The study by Andrew Gray and Graeme Hamilton considers the extent to which Canadian law gives effect to so-called foreign blocking legislation.
