Thuma Staff Writer Over 65 residents turned out to Tuesday's Sanibel City Council meeting for a heated dis- cussion concerning the issue of paid visitor parking. The discussion concerned 300 spaces located 9 at Tarpon Bay lot, Gulfside City Park, and the lighthouse. Currently no fee is collected for these lots, and parking on the island, with the exception of Bowman's Beach, is free to visitors and residents. Two key issues, along with many other ter- tiary problems related to paid parking were included in the discussion. Secondly, ** J , .
