Much Hoole Parish Council Notice of Meeting MUCH HOOLE PARISH COUNCIL NOTICE OF MEETING You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of Much Hoole Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 10th January 2018 at Hoole Methodist Church, Moss House Lane, 7.30pm. Russ Weaver, Clerk to the Parish Council AGENDA 1. Apologies for Absence To receive apologies for absence. 2. Declaration of Interests and Dispensations • To receive declarations of interest from Councillors on items on the agenda • To receive written requests for dispensations for disclosable pecuniary interests (if any) • To grant any requests for dispensation as appropriate 3. Minutes of the Previous Meetings To resolve to approve as a correct record the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on the 13th December 2017 4. Public Time To invite and listen to issues raised by members of the public. 5. Off Road Cycle Track To consider any updates on the Cycle track and resolve any actions required. 6. Finance To authorise payment of the following: a) To RESOLVE that the budget for 2018-19 is set at £44,490 b) To RESOLVE that the Clerk notify SRBC that the Precept for 2018-19 is £19,353 c) To pay the Clerk’s salary in the sum of £250 d) To pay the clerk expenses in the sum of £7.20 e) To issue cheque in payment for Christmas Trees in sum of £150 (previously agreed in principle on 13.12.17) f) To note that all Village Hall funds are now in CCLA and HSBC Village Hall account. Council funds are in Money Manager and current account. 7. Community led projects To discuss the mechanism by which proposals and spending decisions can be made in respect of monies in the 2018-2019 budget allocated for community projects 8. Much Hoole Village Hall The Parish Council to receive a report from the working group on: - 1. Any changes to the costs and timings of the project from the previous Parish Council meetings 2. Any changes to the current target date for starting the project and any known milestones 3. Details of total available funding, together with availability dates, making up the sum required to build the new hall. 4. Any changes to the current Business Plan 9. To consider LCC plans for budget reductions and make any representations necessary. (see email circulated previously on 2nd January 2018 10. This application was dismissed by the High Court on 11th September 2000. ♦ Wateringpool Lane, Lostock Hall (as shown on the accompanying plan), allocated as Green Wedge under policy D10 (deposit policy D6) and Amenity Open Space under policy OSR5 (deposit policy OSR4). This application was upheld by the High Court on 15th September 2000. The implications arising from the decision by the High Court is that this site is not covered by any specific policies. Non site specific policies in this Plan will still apply. The High Court decision will not be challenged for commercial reasons. Policies D10 and OSR5 as they relate to other sites are unaffected by the above High Court decision and have full adopted status.
