Raised on amateur theatre, music and various performances. Moved to Reykjavik (2005) and began a professional career in performance lighting. Moved to London (2007). Graduated (B.A. Hons) in Lighting Design from The Central School of Speech & Drama (2009) and M.A, in Performance Design and Practice from Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design (2013). Received student award from the Association of Lighting Designers for B.A. work. Presented M.A. work at various international conferences and publications. Joined Theatre Projects Consultants (2013-2016) as a theatre consultant. Currently based in London and work freelance as a lighting designer, programmer, stage designer, re-lighter, consultant, mentor and Vectorworks specialist, providing training and support to e.g. the National Theatre, English National Opera, Glyndebourne, Association of Lighting Designers, various theatres, drama schools, Vectorworks UK and individuals.
