Associate shall have its meaning as assigned under Clause 1.13.3; 2. Applicable Law shall mean any laws, bye-laws, statutes, rules, regulations, orders/ government orders, ordinances, notifications, clearances, approvals, directives, circulars, guidelines, policies, judgments, decrees or other governmental requirements or governmental restrictions or any similar form of decision, or determination by, or any interpretation or administration of any of the foregoing by a Government Authority, in each case as amended, modified or superseded from time to time, in India; 3. Applicable permits shall mean licenses, consents, permits, approvals and the like, required to be obtained by the Contractor or CHiPS, as may be applicable, and which is essential for the purposes of implementation and execution of the obligations in relation to the Project; 4. Additional Benefits shall have its meaning set out under Annexure VIII; 5. CHiPS shall mean the Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society; 6. Authorized Service Centre means a Service Centre run by the Bidder by self or through another party by entering into a valid commercial agreement; 7. BDP shall have its meaning under Annexure-VIII; 8. Bid Due Date shall have its meaning under Clause 1.18; 9. Bidder shall have its meaning set out under Clause 1.3; 10. Bid shall have its meaning under Clause 1.3; 11. Call Centre shall mean the centre or the place wherein the Bidder shall make arrangements to receive complaints/service calls from the customer/ Department of Information Technology Chhattisgarh or CHiPS; 12. Cell Site shall mean a cellular telephone site where antennae and electronic communications equipment are placed — typically on a radio mast, tower, or other raised structure — to create a cell (or adjacent cells) in a cellular network; 14. Connectivity shall mean availability of adequate strength of signals to ensure internet data usage and voice calls 15. Consortium Agreement shall have its meaning under Clause 1.2.4 (a); 16. Contractor shall mean the Successful Bidder who shall have executed the Agreement with CHiPS; 17.

SMILE Samajik Evam Sanskritik Vikas Sanstha was registered with Registrar Firms & Society, Raipur, bearing registration no. C.G. State-3381 on 31st May 2011. SMILE SESVS conducted the following programs: - July 2011 24th July 2011 SMILE Centre, Bagbahara. Day meal is provided to all the children as they come to centre. Drop outs and other non school going working children are taught and also encouraged and helped in getting admission to regular schools. August 2011 36 houses were surveyed from 12th August to 29th August 2011 at Bagbahara. Survey orientation was provided by Mr. Jeetendra Singh to Mr. Ashish and the teachers of SMILE Centre, Bagbahara. Content of the family survey form was briefed to the teachers and quarries of trainees were satisfied regarding the methodology of approaching the families for survey. 15th August 2011. Support was extended to Go India Foundation and YMCA in organizing the Blood Donation Camp at Medical College and Hospital, Raipur. 16th August 2011. Support was extended to Mrs. Lilly Bhagirathi for Independence Day Program at District Jail, Dhamtari. All the guests were welcomed by the Jail officials. Mr. Jeetendra Singh when introduced as SMILE representative talked about the hope in life encouraged for repentance and respect others. 185 prisoners were provided refreshments along a towel.

Salient Information: About the area: Pithora Block is situated in the central part of Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh and is bounded on the north by Baloda Bazar and Raigarhdistrict, in the west by Mahasamund block of Chhattisgarh, in the east by Basna block, in the south west by Bagbahara block and in the south by Odisha state. The area lies between 21.05 and 21.50 N latitudes and 82.25 and 82.83 E longitudes. The geographical extension of the study area is 1060 sq.km representing around 21 % of the district's geographical area. Administrative map of the block is shown in Fig. 1.
