Our first stop will be at Pea Soup Andersen’s for a hosted breakfast. Our accommodations for the night will be at the Ayers Hotel in Barstow. Tonight we will have a hosted dinner at Idle Spurs. SUNDAY, MARCH 3 - We will have a hosted breakfast at our hotel this morning. We will stop at the Caesar Forum Shops where you will have time to browse in the shops and have lunch on your own. Our accommodations for the next three nights will be at the Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip. MONDAY, MARCH 4 - Today we will visit the Hollywood Cars Museum. The worlds of movies, TV shows, and cars converge at Hollywood Cars Museum and Liberace Garage. The museum is home to instantly recognizable cars as well as custom cars that would surely turn heads on the road. The collection spans several decades of Hollywood movies and shows. Fans of 60's movies can see the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car or Herbie from “The Love Bug.” TV viewers will notice the A-Team stunt van and Knight Rider pursuit car. James Bond fans can gaze at the motorcycle, Lotus submarine car, and even an Osprey 5 Hovercraft. The Batmobile from the Michael Keaton era, and the neon green Mitsubishi driven by Paul Walker in “The Fast and Furious” are part of the diverse stock. TUESDAY, MARCH 5 - The day is free to explore Las Vegas. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 - Today we travel to Death Valley. Our first stop will be at the Borax Museum for a hosted lunch. After lunch we will have an interpretive description of the Borax outdoor museum exhibits. The Borax Museum is the oldest structure in Death Valley and contains many artifacts from the mining period, an extensive mineral collection, and numerous outdoor exhibits located on the museum grounds. Our accommodations for the next two nights will be at the Furnace Creek Ranch. This evening enjoy a hosted “Barbecue Under the Stars” dinner. THURSDAY, MARCH 7 - A hosted breakfast will be provided at our hotel. Today we will explore Death Valley National Park. We will see the great Sand Dunes, the interesting displays at Borax Mills and Badwater. We will have a hosted lunch along the way. Tonight we will have a hosted dinner at the Furnace Creek Steakhouse. FRIDAY, MARCH 8 - A hosted breakfast will be provided at our hotel. We will have a no hosted lunch in Barstow. Our accommodations for the night are at the Four Points by Sheraton in Bakersfield. Enjoy a hosted dinner at our hotel this evening with entertainment. SATURDAY, MARCH 9 - Our Final Day! Today we travel north toward home stopping for a guided tour and hosted lunch at the Hilmar Cheese Factory with time afterwards to browse in the store. Approximate arrival time home will be 4 pm.
