Learning Outcomes: As a result of participating in the Infection Prevention Conference, the attendees will be able to: • Understand and apply updated strategies to prevent Clostridium difficile based on available current evidence. • Explain and use a new tool called Quick Observation Tools (QUOTS) to enhance adoption of infection prevention and control efforts, in a continuous manner throughout a healthcare facility, by a wide range of healthcare professionals (HCPs). • Understand the differences between chemical and & explain the researcher’s current approach to phage and how it has been used clinically to treat patients. • Describe the role of travel and migration in emerging infectious diseases.
