UVU won three straight games to open the 2014 WAC Tournament before dropping two games to Sacramento State to come up short in the bid to become the program's first team to reach an NCAA Regional. 2015 WAC TOURNAMENT AT HOHOKAM The 2014 WAC Tournament was held at Cubs Park in Mesa, the new Spring Training home of the Chicago Cubs. This year, the tournament will still be held in Mesa but will take place at renovated Hohokam Park, the new spring home for the Oakland A's. Hohokam was the Cubs' prior stadium during Spring Training. NINE SIGN DURING NOVEMBER SIGNING PERIOD Utah Valley signed nine players to National Letters of Intent during the November signing period. Of the nine four are junior college players: Justin Erlandson (Bend, Oregon), Matt Fish (Richland, Michigan), Evan Fresquez (Las Vegas, Nevada) and Jason Jourdan (Syracuse, Utah). The other five are high school players: Jeff Arens (Riverton, Utah), Paul Estrada (Long Beach, California), Trevor Howell (San Diego), Luke Martin (Idaho Falls, Idaho) and Brady Sargent (St. George, Utah).
