The Joe Niekro Foundation is committed to raising awareness and funding for brain aneurysm research and treatment. Every strikeout collected by pitchers from the Astros, Braves, Cubs, Padres, Tigers, Twins and Yankees will be tallied and a $36 dollar donation will be made for each. Through Tuesday, there have been 24 strikeouts from the seven organizations for a total of $864 dollars raised.
