Santiago de Cuba, Cuba The bioremediation of hydrocarbons in contaminated soils by Pseudomonas aeruginosa AT18 strain grow on crude oil, lubricant oil, naphthalene, toluene and, kerosene as unique carbon source and energy was isolated from samples soil contaminated with crude oil on Petroleum Refinery Hnos Díaz in Santiago de Cuba city. The biodegradative activity of the strain achieved 81% with the mixture Mesa 30/Puerto Escondido (8:2) crude oil.
