    ÅLAND’S XXXI ORGAN FESTIVAL 26.6 - 3.7.2005 The theme for the Organ festival's jubilee year is French organ music from the 1800's and 1900's. There will also be some improvisational organ music. Artists from ten countries will participate. The Festival begins with a magnificent jubilee concert in the Jomala church where Frauenchor Spandau, the orchestra Musica da Camera, Carl Borsuk and André Mielewczyk of Berlin will perform. The next day we will listen to the frequently cele- brated French-Italian organist Silvano Rodi. Maria and Roman Perucki of Poland will give a matinee concert on organ and violin in St. Göran's church in Mariehamn. The same night the duo will perform in Föglö while the internationally renowned organist Jean-Christophe Geiser plays in Mariehamn. For the first time in the Organ festival's 30-year history we'll hear an Icelandic artist; Kári Thormar of Hallgrimskirkja in Reykjavik, play in Saltvik. The internationally celebrated organ improviser Hampus Lindwall of Stockholm will hold a concert on the Grönlund organ in Mariehamn. David Saint of Birmingham performs at an organ matinee in Jomala. Jean-Pierre Leguay, of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, will the same day perform in Finström. At the grand finale in Mariehamn, we will listen to the popular European Organ Duo play fourhanded. In Kumlinge and Sottunga, we'll hear the soprano Therese Karlsson of Åland, accompanied by the organist Heikki Seppänen of Turku. Katrin and Henryk Gwardak will participate in the children's concert in the gallery in St. Göran's church in Mariehamn.

Näringen skapar intäkter, arbetstillfällen och möjlighet att visa upp Stockholm från dess bästa sida. Eftersom allt fler upptäcker Stockholm som turist mål så ökar också belastningen på stadens infrastruktur. Fördelningen av ankommande kryssningsfartyg till Stockholm är mycket ojämnt fördelat över året. Vilket skapar utmaningar både för stadens framkomlighet, miljöbelastning och inom hamnens områden. 1.2 Projektmål/Syfte Trafikkontoret, Stockholms hamn samt Business region har fått uppdraget att studera möjligheten och förutsättningarna för marknadsaktörer att skapa en lösning för att transportera primärt turister sjövägen mellan stadens olika sevärdheter och terminalerna. Utredningen har kartlagt nuläget och gett förslag på eventuella åtgärder för att främja framtida passagerartrafik på vattnet. Materialet har som syfte att fungera som stöd och inspiration för vidare utredning.

    Good passenger figures for Viking Line in July: Second-best volume ever Viking Line’s passenger volume for all routes in July was 951,645 passengers. This volume is even higher than that during the company’s record year, 2018, when 951,005 people sailed on its vessels. *This year, Viking Line is operating seven vessels and has had passengers representing 181 different nationalities. Mariella and Gabriella, which sail between Helsinki and Stockholm, have also made day cruises this summer to Tallinn. The capacity utilization of both vessels increased significantly thanks to these extra sailings. In July, Viking Cinderella made three sailings from Stockholm to the Swedish island of Gotland during Political Week, the country’s annual gathering of political and business leaders in Visby.     Nordisk Museologi 2015 • 2, s. 17–32 Without a trace? 17 The Sámi in the Swedish History Museum Marte Spangen Abstract: Around 2005, the Swedish History Museum (SHM) in Stockholm reworked their Vikings exhibition, aiming to question simplistic and erroneous understandings of past group identities. In the process, all references to the Sámi were removed from the exhibition texts. This decision has been criticised by experts on Sámi pasts. In this article, it is argued that we can talk about a Sámi ethnic identity from the Early Iron Age onwards. The removal of references to the Sámi in the exhibition texts is discussed accordingly, as well as the implicit misrepresentations, stereotypes and majority attitudes that are conveyed through spatial distribution, choice of illustrations, lighting, colour schemes and the exhibition texts. Finally, some socio-political reasons for the avoidance of Sámi issues in Sweden are suggested, including an enduring colonialist relation to this minority.
