Family Matters Sophomores Amber and Autumn Bishop are one of approximately 18 sets of twins competing in NCAA Division I softball this season. Two of Liberty’s 2019 opponents, Texas A&M (Meagan and Morgan Smith) and Virginia, (Molly and Rachel Keshin), have twins playing on their team. Senior pitcher Chase Cassady is the younger sister of current Liberty Associate Head Coach Paige Cassady. Their father, John Cassady, is on staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Senior pitcher Julia DiMartino is a two-time Big South Pitcher of the Year. Her older sister, Alyssa DiMartino, pitched for the Lady Flames from 2011-14, serving as Liberty’s opening game starter in both 2012 and 2014.
