His eldest son, O liver, has deprived Orlando, his younger brother, of all wealth and inheritance, forcing him to live a life of servitude and poverty. At the court, the old Duke has been banished by his brother Frederick. However, the daughter of the old Duke, Rosalind, has been allowed to stay at court as a companion to her cousin, Celia.
