: Proud sponsors of The Bradfield Festival of Music www.thephysios.com Bradf An invitation to FESTIVAL OF MUSIC Bradfield 2017

The Bradfield Festival of Music has a tradition of high quality music making in a unique hilltop village setting giving it a very intimate and special feeling. The beautiful and historic surroundings of Bradfield and its 15th Century church within the National Park are the backdrop to our annual Festival that celebrates great classical and contemporary music from some of the world's finest music-makers. A concert here is a very special experience. This lovely building has a fine immediate acoustic, and music heard at this intimate range has real impact and presence. There is much to enjoy in Sheffield and the surrounding Peak District, so much so that some of our concertgoers from far and wide visit the Festival as part of their annual holiday.

One of our most cherished aims is to make great classical music completely approachable, enjoyable and entertaining; never 'high-brow' or elitist. We make sure our concerts are always welcoming occasions for friends to meet, enjoy first class music and chat over a glass of wine or an ice cream in the interval. The informal atmosphere of our venue makes it easy to remove the barrier between the audience and performers.

This is our twentieth Festival since its revival in 1998 and, looking back over those years, it is amazing how many artists have appeared at Bradfield. In 2016 the number of Patron applications reached an all time high and ticket sales for the whole week were, once again, outstanding. Thank you to everyone who supports the Festival; this support has made the Festival what it is today.

Festival 2017 promises to be very special with an array of international vocalists and instrumentalists including a former BBC bachtrack Young Musician of the Year, an award winning Korean violinist, one of this country's leading chamber ensembles, a string quartet from Full artist programme New York City, a premier brass ensemble with an outstanding information available at organist, a top-class UK jazz singer with a Memphis-born blues www.bachtrack.com keyboard player, three outstanding young opera singers and an ensemble presenting classical music in a folk and gypsy style.
