[email protected] Welcome! Finally some warmer weather! May is a busy month from Mother’s Day to Memorial Day. May is also National Stroke Awareness Month & National Hypertension Awareness Month. Checking your blood pressure regularly helps keep you in tune with your body. Every month the Nashoba Nursing Service comes in the 2nd Thursday of the month for a blood pressure clinic. Your health is something to never be taken for granted or ignored. See your primary care for your yearly physical and talk to your doctor about your medications and why you take them ( and if there are any interactions between medications). Eye health is also very important. The American Society of Ophthalmology recommends that you check your vision yearly to see clearly. On Thursday, May 11 D’Ambrosio Eye Care will be offering FREE Vision, Glaucoma and Cataract Screening. This is more extensive than a typical eye chart exam. No Appointment needed. This May we will be offering a Pre-Diabetes class. It’s free and a great way to learn about a healthy lifestyle and some changes you may need to make to your diet to lead a healthier life. We hope to see you here! A heartfelt thank you to all of our Veterans for your service, past and present. For all who have given and sacrificed—we salute you! Please note: we will be closed May 29th in honor of Memorial Day, and there will be NO Senior Breakfast in May.
