  • Llyn Crafnant and Geirionydd from Capel Curig
Llyn Crafnant and Geirionydd from Capel Curig Route Summary: This is a straightforward circuit that you can do at almost any time of the year. Starting from Capel Curig, the route travels over moorland, into two beautiful valleys containing lakes, and finally some forestry (there’s got to be a down side!. Its highest point is only about 340m, and the distance about 15km. Credit for this walk goes to Mr Andrew Jones, who used it several times when the weather was too poor to take us into the higher mountains. The walk begins at Capel Curig, and then goes over grassy ground to Llyn Craftnant. You walk around the lake, and then after a walk through trees reach Llyn Geirionedd, which is used for water sports. The walk goes along the length of the lake, and then cuts back through the forest. The original route went down the road to the Ugly House, but I feel that the forest route is more enjoyable. Distance Ascent Time 15.45 km 586 m 4-5 hours Start and Finish: Capel Curig Facilities: Pubs, shop and cafes in Capel Curig. Cafe on the shores of Llyn Crafnant. The Route This was the second time I completed this circuit, and after a couple of silly errors in navigation last time (all caused by enthusiasm), I was determined to complete this simple walk without problems. The route starts opposite the Pinnacle cafe, and you pass the church (now a decent B&B) on the right up a field, where navigation is relatively straightforward. Just ensure you dont embark on any steep climbs to the ridge just yet, and the path takes you through woodland and onto wet moorland.

To that end, we are working with the States, Tribes, other Federal agencies and our many partners in the private sector to identify, prioritize and focus our efforts in a manner that is most complementary to their efforts, consistent with the mission of our agency, and within the funding resources available. At the very heart of our efforts is the desire to be transparent and accountable and, to that end, we present this Region 3 Annual Fisheries Accomplishment Report for Fiscal Year 2004. This report captures our commitments from the Region 3 Fisheries Program Operational Plan, Fiscal Years 2004 & 2005. This document cannot possibly capture the myriad of activities that are carried out by any one station in any one year, by all of the dedicated employees in the Fisheries Program, but, hopefully, it provides a clear indication of where our energy is focused.

  • Community Infrastructure 13
Background Paper 13: Community Infrastructure 13 February Gwynedd & Môn Joint Local Development Plan 2015 [Type text] Topic Paper 13: Infrastructure Background This is one of a range of topic papers prepared to offer more detailed information and explain the approach of the Plan to different topics and issues affecting the Joint Local Development Plan Area. This paper will look specifically at community infrastructure. It will explain the background which will help to identify the issues, objectives and options for the Deposit Plan. The Deposit Plan is the second statutory stage in the preparation of the Joint Local Development Plan (JLDP). The JLDP shapes the future growth of communities in the Joint Local Development Plan Area and will set out the policies and land allocations against which planning applications will be assessed. The Deposit Plan will be submitted to the Welsh Government, which will appoint an independent inspector to assess the soundness of the Plan in the Examination in Public. If the inspector considers the Plan to be sound it will be recommended for adoption. When adopted the JLDP will supersede the Gwynedd Unitary Development Plan (2009) for the Gwynedd Local Planning Authority Area and the Gwynedd Structure Plan (1993) and Ynys Môn Local Plan (1996) for the Ynys Môn Local Planning Authority. This topic paper can be read in isolation or in conjunction with the other Topic Papers and Background Papers that have been prepared to give a full picture the Joint Local Development Plan Area. You may refer to the Topic Paper as a basis for making comments about the Deposit Plan.

Argraffwyd gan / Printed by: Gwasg Ffrancon Dol Dafydd, Bethesda, Gwynedd LL57 3LY Contents Team AGM 2007 Chairman’s Foreword It is hard to believe that over nine months have flown by and it is almost time for another AGM. Where does time go these days? I feel extremely honoured to have been entrusted with the Chairmanship of the Organisation. I am also very proud to be a member of such a hard working and friendly team of very individual people. The friendship and camaraderie must surely be hard to beat in ‘normal’ walks of life. Due to the nature of our chosen activities, be them climbing, walking, mountaineering etc. we are all very strong minded, outspoken people and many of us have knocked heads with each other a few times but when we are on a callout, all that is forgotten and the teamwork is a joy to behold. There are many people we as a team need to send thanks to but most of all must be the long suffering friends and partners. Whilst we are out ‘playing’ on rescues they have to try and get back to sleep. Being woken up for a callout in the early hours does not just affect the team member but also most people in the house.

Lake Texoma State Park Resource Management Plan Marshall County, Oklahoma Lowell Caneday, Ph.D. 6/30/2017 Fatemeh (Tannaz) Soltani, Ph.D. Chang-Heng (Hank) Yang This page intentionally left blank. i Acknowledgements The authors acknowledge the assistance of numerous individuals in the preparation of this Resource Management Plan (RMP). On behalf of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department’s Division of State Parks, staff members were extremely helpful in providing access to information and in sharing of their time. The essential staff providing assistance for the development of the RMP included Julie Roach, manager of Lake Texoma State Park. Assistance was also provided by Kris Marek, Doug Hawthorne, Don Schafer and Ron McWhirter – all from the Oklahoma City office of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. Merle Cox, Regional Manager of the Southeastern Region of Oklahoma State Parks also attended these meetings and assisted throughout the project. This RMP supplements and updates an earlier document from 2009. Due to the events of the time, the 2009 RMP focused on other possible properties that could be considered for expansion and development within the Oklahoma State Park system. Given the events and circumstances present in 2017, this RMP focuses on the future of the properties remaining within the boundaries of the extant Lake Texoma State Park. The October 2016 kick-off meeting followed critical discussions between the Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO), OTRD, Pointe Vista, and other parties regarding properties formerly included in the original Lake Texoma State Park. Attending this kick-off meeting on behalf of Pointe Vista and Catfish Bay Marina was Ryan Chapman.
