Name ______Date ______Period ______The Project

After watching each part of the film The Medici, you will create a sensory journal entry that expresses the feelings of a different Renaissance character from the film (a total of three sensory journal entries in all). You will imagine what it would be like to be each character, and then create a Sensory Journal Entry for that character that includes a written description of the person’s significance during the Renaissance and a description of what they would have seen, heard, tasted, felt, and smelled. Each entry will also include a hand-drawn color illustration of the character or an aspect of that character’s life (the illustrations cannot be printed from the internet). When all sensory journal entries are completed, you will compile all entries into a packet with a cover page that contains a title, your name, class period, and the date. You may use film questions and notes as well as your textbook to guide your entries and illustrations. You will submit all sensory journal entries and illustrations in a packet with a cover on the last day of the project, Friday, September 30, 2016.
