Burks is the president of Harding University, returning to this role in December 2020 after serving as chancellor since 2013. Joining the Harding faculty in 1967, he taught accounting and served as dean of the Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration for 13 years and as director of American Studies for five years. In his first presidency from 1987-2013, the goal of his administration was the integration of faith, learning and living. Throughout his career, Dr. Burks has also been active in national educational organizations, most notably the Higher Learning Commission. He and his wife, Leah, have two sons, Bryan and Stephen, and six grandchildren.

Christi S. Lones is an assistant professor of history at . She received a bachelor’s in history from and a master’s in history from Fort Hays State University. Professor Lones serves as the faculty coordinator for Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month and Native American History Month at York College and as faculty sponsor for the annual Geography Fair, an education program that reaches out to over 300 elementary students annually. She and her husband, Dr. Billy M. Lones, have two children.

Harris III has almost 30 years of experimentation as a creative entrepreneur. Using his background as a professional magician to combine storytelling and wonder, Harris developed strategies that can transform both teams and individuals from the stories they feel stuck in, to the lives they want to live. He and his wife, Kate, have been married for over 15 years and have three young kids who keep their child-like wonder alive. Dr. Brandon Tatum currently serves as the Executive Director for the National Christian School Association. He also is the founder of ConnectEdu and the Chief Strategy Officer for Oklahoma Christian University. He spent 15 years in the K-12 space serving as teacher, coach, campus minister, development director and, for eight years, as the President of Oklahoma Christian Academy. Dr. Tatum has been recognized for his work in educational innovation, appointed by the Oklahoma Governor to two statewide boards. He and his wife, Megan, have a son, Sawyer, and twin daughters, Blakely and Gentry.

Brad Montague is a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator on a mission to create meaningful experiences for kids and former kids. He is creator of the hit web series “Kid President” and author of “Kid President’s Guide to Being Awesome,” “Becoming Better Grownups” and, most recently, “The Circles All Around Us,” a picture book for kids of all ages. He lives and works in Tennessee with his wife, Kristi, and two children.

Dr. Nathan Mellor is the CEO of Strata Leadership, based in Oklahoma City. He is the son of a NCSA teacher and coach and also a graduate of the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis. An educator at heart, Dr. Mellor has served in both teaching and administrative roles at many Christian colleges and universities throughout his career. In 2014, to aid in the development of leaders from NCSA schools, Dr. Mellor co- founded the Presidential Leadership Institute. He and his wife, Christie, have two daughters, Annalise and Arden.

Dr. Chris King has been the president of Dallas Christian School for ten years. He previously served as the Head of School at Sonrise Christian in Southern California and Arlington Christian School in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. King has a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Heritage Christian University, a master’s in New Testament from Harding Graduate School of Theology and a doctorate in educational leadership from Georgia State University.
