1. For and on behalf of Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, sealed (wax sealing) bids (in Two cover System) are invited by the Chief Engineer, TWAD Board, Thanjavur under Item-war Tender System for the following scheme in Tamil Nadu as detailed below. 2. This Procurement and Construction Contract will follow the procedure prescribed under the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and Rules 2000 and subsequent amendment there on. 3. Bid document in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of written application accompanied with a Demand Draft from any Nationalized / Scheduled bank drawn in favour of The Executive Engineer, TWAD Board, RWS Division, No.9 South street , Ganapathy Nagar , Thanjavur-7 Tamil Nadu as detailed below. 4. Cost of tender document is Rs.1000 + 5 % VAT. 5. The bid documents can also be downloaded at free of cost from www.tenders.tn.gov.in and www.twadboard.gov.in 6. Amount of Earnest Money Deposit will be 1% of the value of work put to tender. 7. Period of contract is 24 months. 8. Pre - bid meeting will be held on 18.12.2013 at 11.00 A.M. in the Office of the Chief Engineer, TWAD Board, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. 9.
