Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq established Tughlaqabad in the second decade of 14th Century.

Created fort here the remnants of which still remain.

He was the first rulers of this dynasty.

Jahanpanah Mohammad-Bin-Tughlaq, son of Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq built in the first half of 14th century.

Jahanpanah is a well enclosure in between Qila Rai Pithora and Siri.

Nephew of Mohammad-Bin-Tughlaq, Firoze Shah Tughlaq created 5th city of Delhi, named Firozabad.

Created in 2nd half of 14th century next to the river .

SHERGARH or DILLI SHER-SHAHI Present is the creation of Sher Shah.

He captured Delhi from in 1540 AD.

SHAHJAHANBAD Mughal emperor Shahjahan brought back the capital of Delhi.

Built a fort and new city, named Shahjahanabad.

This new city inaugurated on Navroz in 1642.

Area of Shahjahanabad is now known as Delhi, magnificent monuments like , Jama Masjid, etc, are present.
