Halloween Magazine Shelagh National School HALLOWEEN NEWSLETTER Welcome to our Halloween Magazine. We hope that you enjoy reading about us and that you do all the puzzles and quizzes in our mag. Hannah Montana is one of my favourite celebrities. Her real name is Miley Cyrus but that’s not her real name her real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. She was in ‘Hannah Montana The Movie’. Leona Lewis is cool and she won the ‘ X Factor ’ in 2007. She has a song called ‘ Keep Bleeding ’ it is my favourite song of hers. The Sugarbabes has a lot of songs. The names of the ‘ Sugarbabes ‘ are Amelle Berrabah, Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range. They have sold lots of songs, my favourite song is ‘ About you Now ’. The Saturdays are cool. They have millions of songs, One of there songs is called “I just can’t get enough”. Their names are Una Healy, Frankie Sand- ford, Rochelle Wiseman, Mollie King and Vanessa White. Well Manchester united are in 2nd place in the Barclays premier league At the minute. My favourite player is Wayne Rooney He has scored the most goals this season so far. They played man city last month and Man united won 4-3 it was an unbe- lievable game. But Chelsea are on the top Of the table they’ve won all their game’s. Tottenham are good this season is well but they lost 3-0 to Chelsea. Defoe is on fire for spurs he can’t stop scoring. Portsmouth are not good at all they’ve lost all there games. Man united are playing Liverpool this month it will be a good game I hope united trash them and it’s at anfield. Liverpool haven’t been playing good this season they lost to Aston Villa. Now to the champions league Man united have an hard enough group. Liverpool have an dead easy group. I think it will be arsenal and united in the final if it is it will be a brilliant match up. I think united can make it to Rome but I hope they don’t lose this time. I hope it’s against Real Madrid cause Ronaldo left to go with them. That’s all I have to say about soccer Than You for reading my paragraph By Dylan. Hi my name is Darren I am going to tell you about music. My favourite type of music is hip-hop. The biggest new singer this year would have to be Lady Gaga. Her big new songs Just Dance, Poker Face and Paparazzi were massive hits. Some big songs this year were: - Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling, Live Your Life, Knock You Down, Supernova and Dead and Gone. I know a few traditional Irish songs like Galway Girl, The Hills of Donegal, The Gambler, Whiskey in the Jar, Dirty Old Town and the Fields of Athenroy. The X factor has started back up again and a lot of good singers have been seen. It was very funny a couple who had entered the competition broke up 3 days before their audi- tion. Then when they told the judges told them to get back together. So they got back to- gether on the stage but they didn’t get through and then broke up 2 hours later on the Xtra factor. I hope you enjoyed my piece bye. The End By Darren Clarke Tennis is my favourite sport. There are lots of competitions such as The US Open, Australian Open, Davis Cup, Queen’s and Wimbledon. My favourite player is Andy Roddick. He is from Florida, America and has a brother who plays tennis and he is engaged. My favourite tournament is Wimbledon. There are lots of courts in Wimbledon. There are roughly 13 courts. The main court can close its roof if it starts to rain. It is on in London and is usually in the summer. Roger Federer is the greatest ever champion. He is from Switzerland and is married and his wife had twins. It was a great final between Andy Roddick and Roger Federer at Wim- bledon for Roger Federer to become the greatest ever champion. Poland relegated Great Britain out of Europe/Africa Group 1 in the Davis Cup. By Niamh Burns. The football on T.V is the Barclays premier league There are two teams at the top of league. the team at the top now is Chelsea with 17 pts in the league. Liverpool also has 17 pts . Chelsea’s pitch is called Stamford and Liverpool’s is called Anfield Chelsea and Liver- pool have 3 kit’s each. Chelsea is at the top of the league and Liverpool is second. The world cup is on T.V now. In the Simpson’s there are five main characters their names are Homer Lisa Bart Marge Maggie. My favourites are Homer and Bart Homer all ways says the wrong thing at the wrong time Bart is cool he is all ways on his skateboard. There is a new Simpson’s DvD It is season 11 it is meant to be good. The Simpson’s is coming to Ireland They are doing it in Dublin. .
