The presentation of all monitoring features into these catchment maps will assist in developing an integrated approach to catchment management and operation. The water quality monitoring maps and index were originally incorporated into the Catchment Action Plans. They provide a visual presentation of monitored sites within a catchment and enable water quality data to be accessed easily by all departments and external organisations. The maps bring together information from different sections within Water Quality. The routine river monitoring and tidal water monitoring points, the licensed waste disposal sites and the monitored effluent discharges (pic, non-plc, fish farms, COPA Variation Order [non-plc and pic]) are plotted. The type of discharge is identified such as sewage effluent, dairy factory, etc. Additionally, river impact and control sites are indicated for significant effluent discharges. If the watercourse is not sampled then the location symbol is qualified by (*). Additional details give the type of monitoring undertaken at sites (ie chemical, biological and algological) and whether they are analysed for more specialised substances as required by: a. EC Dangerous Substances Directive b. EC Freshwater Fish Water Quality Directive c. DOE Harmonised Monitoring Scheme d. DOE Red List Reduction Programme c.

  • Launceston-And-Districts-Fallen-From-Both-World-Wars..Pdf
This is not a complete record of all those that fell during the two wars, with some of the fallen having no information available whatsoever. However there are 222 names from within the district that I have been able to provide a narrative for and this booklet hopefully will provide a lasting memory for future generations to view and understand the lives behind the names on the various memorials around Launceston. It has not been easy piecing together the fragments of information particularly from the first world war where many records were destroyed in the blitz of the second world war, but there are many resources now available that do make the research a little easier. Hopefully over time the information that is lack- ing in making this a complete story will be discovered and I can bring all the re- cords up to date. Of course there have been many people that have helped and I would like to thank Peter Bailey, Claudine Malaquin, Dennis Middleton, Jim Edwards, Martin Kel- land, Grant Lethbridge Morris and Michael Willis for their invaluable help in compiling this homage plus the resources that are freely available at Launceston Library. My hope is that the people will find this a fascinating story to all these souls that bravely gave their lives in the service of their country and that when we come to remember them at the various remembrance services, we will actually know who they were. Roger Pyke 28th of October 2014. Launceston’s Fallen from World War One William Henry ADAMS William was born in 1886 at 14 Hillpark Cottages, Launceston to Richard and Jane Adams.

  • Part 3 Appendix 8
FOREWORD All of the responses submitted as part of the Consultation period (3rd THE ROSELAND PLAN August - 14th September 2014) were gathered together. There were 49 OUR ROSELAND - OUR FUTURE responses from individuals and 13 responses from Stakeholder businesses and organisations. Some individuals sent more than one submission, ie there www.roselandplan.org [email protected] were responses from 42 individuals. We have included in this document input from an assessment of the Consultation Draft by the Neighbourhood Consultation Statement Planning Independent Examiner Referral Service (NPIERS). To aid assessment of the responses, each submission was assessed and the Appendix 8 relevant parts grouped with the parts of other submissions concerning the same topic. Thus, we generated a set of documents relating to a certain number of general matters and another set which consisted of comments on individual pages of The Draft Roseland Plan. Consistent with this approach, Assessment of the Management Team considered the 'General Submissions' first and then moved on to the 'Page-by-Page' assessment. Responses to Consultation In the document which follows, we have listed the relevant submission 3rd August 2014 - 14th September 2014 together with the action we decided upon and the rationale for so doing. Responses from Stakeholder organisations are identified while, to maintain confidentiality, those from individuals are identified by a unique response Produced by the number.
